"Given the nature, Bar Harbor, most of the hotels in town will be smaller. But this one is especially well located. I was concerned that the hotel being on the main road would be noisy, but then the road barely has any traffic on it and it's mostly pedestrians walking by from shop to shop. I had one of the bungalow cabins in the back of the hotel, which was perfect off the street quiet yet easy to get in and out of to the restaurant which are within a Stonesthrow. "This property has been great for two stays now and the staff is awesome! The construction is kind of distracting, but the progress is good. I was a bit disappointed that they are removing the gas fireplaces during room updates, but I do understand the safety aspect. This is definitely a property that embraces the past era it represents and in that way creates it’s charm."

"I chose Bar Harbor Manor based on reviews and my husband and I were very happy with my choice. Constance checked us in this past Tuesday and was so very friendly and helpful. She helped me plan the things I had asked about Acadia and Bar Harbor and gave us maps with it all marked out. Then we met Chris shortly after and he went and got us yogurt and granola bars when I told him we would be leaving our room at 4:30am for sunrise the next morning. "Staff was incredibly kind and attentive. We arrived late on 10/24 and the customer service personnel was amazing to go as far as writing us a personal note of what to check out based on our person interests. Staff was quick to address any issues such as a clogged toilet. I was beyond impressed with our view and the included continental breakfast was above and beyond. All staff were ever so courteous. I highly recommend this property. A short drive to town."
