Amazing Views of Beech Mountain, Walk to Ski Slopes!

2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom, 1 Level House with amazing views! This house is at an elevation of 5520 feet, the views are spectacular.

Walking distance to the ski slopes, just a short walk to hop on the slope. We feel the best way to access the slopes is by turning right from our parking area and walking down to the first curve, you will be able to walk out onto the slope from there (Upper Shawneehaw). To return, take Lift 5 to the top and ski down Upper Shawneehaw until you see the cut through point.

Come enjoy the cooler air in the summer months as well, and enjoy all that Beech has to offer. Lounge on our large wrap around deck, or kick back with a book from our shelves! We have also provided a number of board games to bring out your competitive side.

We are the new owners of this cozy home and are making updates to make your stay more enjoyable. We have started with adding a brand new King Bed in the Master Bedroom!
This home has two bedrooms, King in the Master and Queen/Twin Bunk Beds in the Guest room. Additionally, we have a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room to allow for more guests.
Fully furnished kitchen with brand new dishes, glasses, silverware, utensils, and 2 coffee makers (single-serve/latte & drip).
TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, fully equipped with Roku devices to access streaming channels and YoutubeTV. WIFI also provided.

Parking for 2 vehicles and 4 Wheel Drive is required in the Winter Months!

Great Cabin! Great host! Ski in ski out! Erica is a fantastic host with a perfect little spot for a ski getaway. Everything was clean and tidy. The communication was spot on and was exactly as described. Book with confidence. Erica even helped us reset the living room Roku when it decided to act up.Now a word from a parent of two rookie skiers… This house is located between two blue runs. If you are looking at the map it’s hard to tell how you get from the house to the slops. There are two ways.1. You walk about 50 yards from the driveway to Upper Shawneehaw. This is a blue trail but the steepest part is below where you enter. If you have rookie skiers or littles this will be a challenging beginning to their trip. It’s not far down, maybe 200 yards, but it’s about as steep as anything on the mountain. Also, you have to do a bit of climbing to get from the road up to the slope. It’s not bad but can be a bit difficult for little ones (and cautious wives) wearing ski boots, holding equipment, while dressed like a marshmallow. It was pretty icy when we were there but that will change with the weather. Don’t freak out. You can do it. Just be mentally prepared for it. We made it up and down just fine with a 10 year old and a 13 year old.2. You can walk down to the lift at the top of Lower Shawneehaw. That run is also blue but much flatter than Upper Shawneehaw. The walk down is long and fairly steep. The lower steps are not usable because of a retaining wall at the road.

Let me start off by saying that the host was great! Even before we got there, the host was so quick to reply to my messages which was truly appreciated. The location is great, right on the slopes. Unfortunately, our stay was rained out and we didn’t get to ski but the cabin had a beautiful view. Cabin is cozy and had everything we needed during our stay. We will be back next year and hopefully will get to ski.

Perfect ski in and ski out

This was our second year in a row staying at Erica's home for spring skiing and it is always clean, comfortable and convenient. She is always accommodating, especially when we had to make a last-minute change to our dates. Highly recommend and we are ready to book for next year!

Wow what an amazing experience. The property was beautiful and located right next to a ski lift. Very modern and cozy. Everything about the rental was 5 stars and the host was very kind and responsive. I would recommend this listing to anyone who wants a turn key winter vacation with luxury and convenience.

Great location for ski/snowboard!

We had a lovely Xmas stay! The sloped are a 2 min walk from the front door - it’s pretty awesome not having to park a car at the resort! Location is everything! Views are great all around from the porch. The Cabin is clean and comfortable! Fully equipped kitchen is a plus! On the rainy day we spent all day playing board games and watching movies. Erica is a great host, supper flexible and great communication! Check in/out nice and smooth. We will definitely come back again!

Erica's house was perfect for our family of 4; it was super clean, extra comfortable with everything we could need, and extremely convenient for skiing and exploring the local restaurants and bars. Perfect Stay!

We loved everything about our stay! The house is in a super convenient location and the views from the deck are spectacular! Almost all the furniture in the house is brand new, but still very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and we loved having the option of making lattes with the Keurig machine. We are hoping to rent again in ski season due to its close proximity to the slopes! We can't wait to come back.
