As a airline family, both of us have spent a lot of time in hotels and wanted something different for our Bar Harbor stay. Comfortable beds, clean showers and charmng decor greet every visitor. The owner, Chris, is a delightful person and his personality is shown through the employees, decor and all. Oh, let's not forget the breakfasts! ...
"Best described as charming and quiet. Very clean and well appointed. Half block walk to shops and restaurants.
Staff is excellent. Walker was very helpful and recommended several fun things to do.

"First time bed and breakfast stay and it was amazing! Christi and Matt were so welcoming and had some recommendations to give us which was very helpful. The view is absolutely beautiful! Our room was perfect - had a comfy king bed with an updated bathroom, including an amazing shower. Multiple options for breakfast that Chrisi whips up and it was delish! Will definitely be back!!"

"Loved the Ivy Manor Inn. Right in the middle of everything happening in Bar Harbor. Loved the fireplace and balcony in the room, loved the outdoor space with music and cocktails, loved the staff who were all so helpful."
"Perfect location for walking to Main St. and enjoying all of the shops and restaurants. Also, minutes to drive to Acadia and access the beautiful National Park. Apartment with full kitchen (Raven's Nest) was great for preparing a couple of meals. The king size bed was so comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The built-in window seat for two was lovely for relaxing and reading. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. "
"The location was beautiful and well worth the price. The indoor pool exceeded our expectations and was immaculate as was the hot tub. We did not use the outdoor pool or fire pit but both looked inviting. The location is close enough to walk to the d9wntown village. The rooms are a little dated but beds were comfortable, Internet access was excellent."
"Good place to rest your head with parking (a luxury in Bar Harbor). Made two separate reservations because decided to add a night. No issues whatsoever. Lots of amenities-provided everything you need! Kitchen a plus. Good amount of space. "
"The included breakfast was so good and highly recommended. There was an electrical outlet in the bathroom that didn’t work. Also, not sure if it was us, but we couldn’t get the door to lock. However, for the location, cleanliness. We would stay here again. I might recommend a bigger refrigerator since we did have leftovers and they didn’t always fit in the fridge. "
