The house layout ensures comfort and privacy for everyone:

First Floor: Find the heart of the home here, featuring a cozy living room (complete with a TV for movie nights) and a convenient half bathroom. The fully stocked kitchen is a chef's delight, providing all the dishes and cooking utensils you'll need to prepare and serve a feast for up to six people.

Second Floor: Retreat upstairs to your private sleeping quarters. You'll find three inviting bedrooms, each furnished with its own TV for late-night viewing. A full bathroom is also located on this floor for easy access.

Wonderful quiet spot in the woods! My husband and our dog really enjoyed our stay. The house is a great location and has nice updates. Still the cozy cabin feel, but with a contemporary vibe. Each bedroom has an AC window unit. The long turn around driveway was perfect as we brought our boat. Only 1 mile from downtown Baileys Harbor. Host was great to communicate with and had easy check in. We’ve been to Door County several times and it’s really hard to find a nice place that’s dog friendly. We will definitely be back!

Door County Century weekend

The Quite Home in the Woods is a beautiful property in a great location close to Baileys Harbor. The walk into town is about 20 minutes on a very low-traffic side road that leads to a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. We are planning to return.

Baileys Harbor Cabin

Great week in Door County. The house in the woods worked out very well for my wife and I, our twin daughters and their husbands. It was wonderful that they allowed us to bring four dogs as well. The property was perfectly located for access to great restaurants, boating on Green Bay, playing on the beach at Whitefish Dunes, and of course shopping for my wife and daughters. Everyone enjoyed bonfires in the fire pit in the evening too. We've been coming to Door County for many years and this will definitely be a place we will come to again!

Family 4th of July

Wonderful. Perfect for what we were looking for. Quiet setting with access for everyone to the activities of door county. Really appreciate all the amenities, comfort beds and living area. Took advantage of the tv to watch euro 24 and fire pit for s’mores.

Wonderful stay in Baileys Harbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Baileys Harbor. We had dinner at Harbor Fish Market and Grille which was phenomenal. We were only 3 min away. We were also 10-15 minutes from Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. The Vrbo was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. WiFi and tv were good. We would love to stay here again.

Annual Birthday Stay

Wonderful location - house very easy distance from anything. We enjoyed our stay with the whole family including our pup. We normally camp in Baileys Harbor for summer and winter at hotels or VRBO's and this one was a great stay and very well equipped house for any need. We will be back again for sure :) Thank You for sharing your home with others :)

Secluded Dog Friendly Spot

We absolutely LOVED our stay - so much so that we extended our trip! We traveled with with four adults, a toddler and our golden retriever. Everything was very clean and very modern. Our son loved the bunk beds! This is definitely a must-stay for anyone who considers their four legged friend a part of their travel group. We hope to visit again soon!

Loved our stay

Came up here over Labor Day weekend and loved staying here. The house has everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was well stocked (I even saw a kitchen aid mixer) and there were plenty of towels, linens, cleaning supplies, etc. loved the fire pit and the woodsy outdoors, I can imagine this place is beautiful in the fall. I will definitely book for a future stay!

Great stay

We enjoyed the stay and the hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond - it has everything you need and we all were comfortable and loved how close it was to everything! Some notes: Must love dogs to stay here! Found some dog hair (not ours) in a few places including the coffee maker. Also, the floors were not clean. The bottoms of our feet were black after just arriving and putting our things away. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Cute Comfy House In the Woods

We loved this property. It’s a great location for visiting any part of Door County. The property is new and updated. They have everything you need in the house to be comfortable. I was sad leaving today and saying goodbye to our rental. It has been my favorite place by far. We bring our boat and it had a perfect driveway to hold both vehicles. We will definitely book again.

Perfect spot for a Door county girls weekend!

We loved the location and home! Very cute, location near everything and so perfectly decorated. Very clean and the kitchen was lovely to make breakfast and have coffee. Nice and private as well.

Home Away From Home

This place was PERFECT! The host was very helpful and responded quickly. This home is set up with everything you could want or need. Our two pups had a wonderful time exploring the grounds and this home is very central to all Door County has to offer. Cannot wait to stay here again!

Awesome weekend getaway

We had a fabulous time in Bailey's Harbor and Door County. Amanda was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. She gave us a few tips on some things we could do with our son's dog and that came in handy. The place was very clean and well organized. It had everything we needed. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Door County.

Great weekend away!

The property is nicely set back from the road and private. Our dogs loved running around the yard and playing in the snow. Just a short drive from Egg Harbor! We highly recommend Stones Throw Winery just a country mile away.
