"What a horrible experience! It was awful from start to finish. I booked a room at the I Street hostel. When I got there, they told me that the construction hadn't been finished and I had to go to the U Street capsule hostel. In other words, I booked one place and was forced to stay at another, with the excuse that “it's not that far away”. To keep me quiet, they allocated me a private room from Monday to Friday. On Thursday I received a message that they were removing all my things from the room...

"The staff here were friendly, fun and helpful. I've stayed it lots of hostels especially on the Appalachian Trail. This one rocks! It is clean, updated and a good location. Met people I will stay in contact with for future travels. Pancakes! Chocolate chip, blueberry and old fashioned every morning and great coffee. The rooftop is a great place to relax and if ya want to cook something up, they got you there too. Room was a little in the toasty side but the humidity is awful right now. Chill...
