"The first room we stayed in was on level 5 it had no air conditioning and was extremely hot. We were told that the hotel was full so we couldn’t move to another room. The window was very small and only opened a few inches. We asked again 2 days later and were given another fan. However, it just blew the hot air around very noisily. After not being unable to sleep on the fourth day we asked again about another room and we moved to a room on the first floor with really quite and effective air...

"We were very happy with the seafront location, proximity to the beach and the Lido. We had a number of meals at the hotel, and we were very satisfied with the quality and service. The room was spacious and clean, the room was very warm through the most recent heat wave yet manageable with a fan. Transportation access to downtown and other attractions was very convenient on the number one bus with both pick up and drop off at the door. We would stay here again and recommended it to others fully."

On arrival on a very hot day we asked if they had air conditioning that was a NO, we then asked for a fan for the rooms, we told they put on a list asked this for 3 days same reply. They have a nice indoor swimming pool but you cannot open the sliding doors due to bolts rusted in place. "The staff were very helpful. Pool was lovely and it’s situated very close to a wonderful beach."

"The hotel is beautifully located with fabulous views, the only downside was the trek to the nearest bus stop, or rather the trek back uphill. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff from Debora in reception all the way to the charming folk who kept our room clean and well stocked with essentials. "One of the most peaceful and quietest hotels I have stayed in. Very friendly staff from reception to the waiting staff. All professional and extremely courteous. Breakfast was that expected at a top restaurant ! We will return to this hotel for sure. "

"All very good. The only slight thing was that we had 2 single duvets on a super king size bed. No issues with bed size. The sole issue was we felt we'd have been warmer/ more comfortable under a double duvet, as we have this at home. I think we were afraid to say, because everything else was very good."

The food was of a very high standard and the presentation was so inviting. We had dinner in the hotel on a couple of nights and were delighted by the selection and quality.
