"This was a great place close to the heart of SLO. Recently remodeled with everything you needed to enjoy your time there. It is also dog friendly, so you can bring you 4-legged friends with you to enjoy. The remodel was well done. Everything you needed to was there and they even through in some considerate touches like drinks in the fridge, snacks, and a bottle ow wine. Highly recommend The Railroad House!"

"The cottage was very comfortable and well stocked. It was spacious for being a small cottage. The location was good, walking distance to coffee and restaurant. Parking was easy. The only issue we found with location is that there are 2 restaurant/bars in very close proximity. If you are into this, you are golden. But they are very very loud. The windows helped with the noise but all the loud (not very good) music could be heard inside till about 10 pm. Maybe take earplugs if this is not your...

"We had our family at the house over the Thanksgiving holiday. That’s 6 adults and 3 kids ages 11 (boy) and girls (both 8). The house sleeps 8 comfortably but our grandson opted for an inflatable mattress instead of the fold out downstairs. The house could use some curtains or blinds in the upstairs living area. There is lots of glass and the sun can be blinding. But overall, the house is comfortable, orderly and everything works. The host was very responsive. "
