This is Southeast Austin done right. Super close to South Congress, Riverside, and Downtown! Don't miss the super popular Whip In eclectic bar, convenience store, and Indian fusion restaurant nearby!

This is a great place for launching your Austin adventure or staying in town for that business meeting or conference. The location is excellent with easy access to South Congress, Riverside, and Downtown. The apartment fits 6 people comfortably with 2 in the large bedroom (king bed), 2 in the second bedroom (queen size bed), and 2 on the comfy living room sleeper sofa (queen size).

Work from home or keep the family entertained at home with high speed wifi and a smart TV. Stream your favorites on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and more!

Guests will have access to the entire apartment plus the patio. Mabel Davis District Park, which has fishing piers, picnic shelters, playgrounds, softball fields, and Austin's first public skate park is a 6 minute walk away. We also have the Country Club Creek Trail equally as close, which has a great running/hiking/biking trail that connects to many of the other parks around Austin.

If you need recommendations, we'll be available to provide them otherwise you'll have complete privacy. We'll provide you with access information before you arrive, so you'll have super quick and easy entry.

After booking you'll be provided a link where you can purchase upgrades to your booking such as early check-in and late check-out, additional cleanings, and more that will make your Austin experience even better!

We don't charge a security deposit! Where many hosts charge over $500, and where you as the guest risk them not returning your deposit – Austin Vacay remains guest-centric by charging a one-time, non-refundable fee (already included in your booking price) which provides up to $400 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions). This means a lower cost to book, and because accidents happen, protection against costly charges. Plan terms and conditions provided by request after booking.

Situated in the southeastern part of Austin, this area embodies a vibrant and diverse community. Known for its accessibility to downtown Austin, this location offers a mix of residential and commercial properties, with a range of housing options suitable for various budgets. The neighborhood is enriched by its cultural diversity, reflected in the variety of eateries, shops, and local businesses that provide a global flair. Several parks and green spaces provide opportunities for outdoor recreation, contributing to a friendly community atmosphere. Its strategic location near key transportation hubs, and proximity to both urban excitement and the serenity of Lady Bird Lake, make this area an appealing and dynamic part of Austin.

Scooters (Lime & Bird) as well as Lyft and Uber are the best ways to get around Austin, especially this close to everything. However, there are also a lot of public transportation options in this area (see CapMetro's website).
We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy.
1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine)
2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance
3) No events or parties
4) No pets allowed
5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it
6) Minimum age requirement is 25
7) If you do not check out on time (11AM) you will be charged an additional night
8) Please see the House Manual emailed to you a few days before your stay

Nice stay - just 2 items the management company might consider

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was close to where my granddaughter and her partner live so the proximity was very helpful. The unit was clean and well stocked and had plenty of room to easily accommodate my son, my adult grandson and me, as well as visitors who dropped by during our stay. All communication with the owner and the management company was clear and helpful including the guides. There were only two concerns we experienced during our stay. One was that the back door locked upon being closed from the outside and required an access code to re-enter. We requested the access code for the back door from the management company and were told that they preferred us to enter via the front door. The problem was that if you go out the back door to the patio, you can’t get back in because the gate to leave the backyard (in order to re-enter through the front door) is locked. We were glad that someone had stayed in the house and was able to open the door from the inside, which prevented us from being locked out the first time we went outside. Whenever we accessed the backyard after that we were required to leave the door ajar in order to re-enter. The other concern is that the thermostat was locked at 68 degrees. This may have been OK had the temperatures outside stayed relatively warm but with the cooler temperatures accompanying the snow the house was quite chilly. In fact I wore 3 layers of clothing during our 5 day stay.

the property was fine had a few issues that were taken care of quickly parking is not ideal with a large vehicle as you share the driveway, with the other unit its narrow and on a large hill

Perfectly Perfect Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this charming little duplex - it was clean, well-stocked, and a great central location for a few day trips (we hit Magnolia in Waco, Georgetown, Fredericksburg & a friend’s food truck in Hutto). Camille checked in to make sure we’d arrived safely and that we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend!
