"The room was so very welcoming, clean and recently upgraded. I felt comfortable in at ease. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast food has so many different options. I would stay there again."

"Unfortunately I didn't expect a great hotel but there was mold and mildew everywhere, the door didn’t close well, and the room was very musty. Service was terrible as the manager was the only employee and said was too busy to help. "

"The house and grounds are beautiful. They reminded us of a fine English country house. Sarah and Ryan are ideal B&B hosts; friendly but not intrusive. Cold wine, beer and soft drinks were available in for guests to help themselves, as well as tea and coffee. We were attracted to the Howarth Suite with its whirlpool tub, and were not disappointed. It was large, full of beautiful and interesting things (as was the rest of the house), and the tub was easily big enough for two and worked very well....

"Lovely historic inn! Very well appointed and spacious room, comfortable common area, attentive hosts, great breakfast (including eggs from the inn's beautiful chickens, and homemade bread), mattress was quite firm (whether it is too firm is just a matter of taste). One suggestion: have pullout sofas in the larger rooms and suites that include sofas -- our son was a little too tall for the non-pullout sofa. "Quiet getaway, we really enjoyed staying on this property. Area is beautiful western Massachusetts is really majestic, and scenic. It was literally a two min walk to a great restaurant. Lucienne was a lovely host and very accommodating . Her rental was clean and comforting . We had a little patio out back too . If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, i recommend Lucienne's place"
