"We had a wonderful week at the cabin. It was very tranquil and very relaxing. Loved watching the hummingbirds and chipmunks. The sound of the river was so relaxing and Lake George is just minutes away. Pam was a great communicator and had some great suggestions for local restaurants. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend and would love to go back in the fall. "

"Very nice, clean cabin. Super easy to check in and great communication. All our questions were quickly answered and addressed.Cabin is fully stocked, full kitchen, beautiful porch. Although there wasn't air, the cabin has plenty of fans and stayed quite cool Short walk to the beach and lake. Great for swimming boating and just relaxing.Dog had a great time too. There is a large hill to tackle if you feel like taking a walk. A little challenging....Quick ride to town for groceries, an ice cream...

"Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. "

"House was perfect for 3 people for two nights. Screened in porch was nice for when it rained. Bedding area in loft area is more for children, ceiling is low."

"A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. "

"This is a beautiful property on an idyllic lake which we enjoyed very much. Linda was a more than accommodating host and we enjoyed talking with her and learning about the property and the area. Great water activities, especially the paddle boarding and canoeing. Proximity to Lake George is a plus!"

"Property is beautiful BUT beware the cabins are much smaller than they appear in the photos. The upstairs with the 2 beds is just a crawl space with beds. Not suitable for young kids or anyone tall lol. The steps leading up to that space is dangerous. Make sure to buy the linen package, i didnt even know it exsisted until we arrived and it was to late to purchase. Beware of the slippery floors as well, my kids took many spills on them. The bunkbeds are also in closet NOT room. "

"Our family enjoyed our stay at this rustic Lakeside cabin. The house was very accommodating and the view across the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed campfires, listening to the loons, and star gazing every night. It was also great being able to bring your dogs, who am I say thoroughly enjoyed the water. "
