We enjoyed the home and all it had to offer. The driveway was a bit rough but we managed it. We were informed that the pool table had two broken legs upon arrival. That was disappointing for us. We were looking forward to our family pool tournament. We overcame and enjoyed the heated swimming pool instead. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. The home was clean and well-stocked with towels and supplies. The kitchen and dining areas were great for our extended families to enjoy meals and game time. The theater room was perfect for looking at old family photos and watching movies. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub in the evening. Bears were spotted near the property, but they were not an issue. We were close to neighbors and tried to be respectful. We were even able to get pizza delivered. The home could use a little more outdoor lighting. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this as a location for a family gathering.

We enjoyed spending time with family at this 8 bedroom rental with pool. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped and the movie theater was a fun experience for us. We loved spending time in the pool and even had a family of bears visiting daily.While the inside of the house is similar to the pictures in the listing, the rental has not been maintained to the expected degree shown. The pool area is nice. The outside of the property is in need of some new pictures which better reflects the current state of the property. This house is nearly perfect! The house is beautiful, spacious and tons of activities available. Wifi is necessary as there is zero cell service (AT&T for sure and texting was still spotty) . We even saw a bear this morning! Perfect getaway for families and wish i found this sooner as we could have used this for HS graduations! Reynolds district. The drive in is a bit rustic but the quiet is worth it! Highly recommended for groups/families and close to Asheville city -

Terrific house, highly responsive property management, a FYIs before you book. First, the house is excellent, I hosted my siblings and parents for a family reunion here and the house was great! The sleeping arrangements were pretty good, although with little kids, a bedroom with bunk beds would have been desirable, but we knew the bedroom-bed setup and it was fine. One other suggestion (but not a knock) might be a beverage fridge or a second fridge, the one single fridge was a bit tight for a very large group.Mighty Tree Properties, the management group that oversees the house, were excellent. They reached out to me and one the first full day, we realized an umbrella was broken and they had one sent out the next day to replace it. I appreciate how easy it was to connect with them with questions or if we needed something.Some FYIs if you're considering, again, I can't knock the star rating but something folks considering the rental should know. First, the rental is at the end of some very rough private roads, where they are one-way and the road itself is pretty rough! The private road was very windy and not in great shape so it took about 8-10 min just to get in and out of the private road.The other thing, cell service was spotty. Mighty Tree tried calling me and my service was bad so we resorted to texting, others in my fam had similar, poor service. The wi-fi was good, though, and you could to calls over wi-fi but something to keep in mind.A worthwhile stay

This house was absolutely perfect for a large group. Beautiful house, tons of bedrooms with extremely comfy beds, great well kept pool and the most helpful, responsive hosts I've ever encountered in all my years of renting vacation homes! We came for a bachelorette party and reached out in advance inquiring about seating for a large group for a dinner outside. Since the house didn't have quite enough, they offered to order foldable tables and chairs for us which were waiting brand new on the porch when we arrived. The wifi was not working the first day and with several folks who had to work remotely, they were SO responsive and when AT&T couldn't resolve the issue they actually had someone come deliver and install a Starlink terminal within two hours and we had zero issues the rest of the weekend. No matter when we reached out they responded almost instantly and couldn't have been nicer. This house is also in a great location for it's proximity to the heart of Asheville but also being a full mountain feel. The only heads up is that the road is a bit narrow and windy getting up! We didn't have any trouble with regular cars (and didn't have any issue getting ubers up there either) but did have a party bus so we just arranged to meet the bus in the parking lot of the Publix 15 mins away to not risk them not being able to get up the road to the house. Recommend for any and all large groups!

Asheville Getaway

We had a lovely stay at this property and the property manager was helpful and responded quickly to questions. There are some things that would have been very helpful to know ahead of time. This property was at the very end of the “private drive”. It was so narrow that when we met a commercial garbage truck we had to back up to a less narrow spot in order to let the truck pass through. It was also very unlevel and in disrepair. Had we not been in an all wheel drive vehicle that was more elevated off the ground than most, we would have had a difficult time getting to the property. We parked on a concrete pad that had rebar sticking up 3 in. every 8 ft. Be aware. That could cause serious injury. The house sleeps 20 but there wasn’t enough seating in any of the rooms. It made it difficult for our large group to gather. Also there is only 1 fridge, again not enough space for 20 people. The only TV that we could get to work with a remote was the TV in the movie room. With just a few changes and a heads up on some things, this would be an amazing getaway spot!

Home Away From Home!

Our stay was amazing! This property was well thought out, has all the necessity, and a few extras if you've forgotten something. The cozy lounge areas, the book of laid out instructions, etc. We went as couples, and there was more than enough room for 20 of us & we will absolutely will be returning!! The communication was superb&very prompt before,during&after our stay!!

Extended Family Gathering!!

We really enjoyed this property! Our extended family group of 13 had plenty of room, and were all able to gather around the table for dinner and games!! The teens loved the media room, pool table and ping pong….we all loved the pool with plenty of pool toys and floaties and hot tub as well. We grilled our dinner the majority of nights. Great family time for us in beautiful Ashville!

Great place for a weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The kids didn’t want to leave the pool. We had plenty of dishes and utensils to cook the food we brought. Great stay overall!

Family vacation

Beautiful home and location. House had a great layout and the pool was wonderful (didn't use hot tub due to hot weather). Lots of little things needed maintenance but we didn't know if these had been reported. Not many kitchen utensils and no bedding for pull out couches that was needed.

Family alternative to traditional beach trip

was a success. House and property was as advertised, was well appointed. We had several children from less than 1 year of age to teens, and adults up to 70s. Something entertaining for all in the area and the house easily accommodated needs. Found easy access to sightseeing and hiking along the BR parkway, visiting local Asheville tourist venues and downtown area and relaxing together at the property made for a great week together.

Great mountain getaway!

First day Asked for missing coffee pot Several major items broken on checkin day- dishwasher and stayed broken, closet doors off track , kitchen faucet was fixed, guest room curtains non existent but then fixed next day, barn doors in closet hid wall switch. .

White Gap Disaster

For starters, we arrived to a dirty home. There were bags of trash still in the home and dishes that had been marred with the last occupants food on the plates that were tucked away in the cabinets. We were without running water for a day and a half, Christmas Eve and Day, with it intermittently coming back on for the duration of our stay. We didn't have the ability to cook, clean dishes, take showers or use the restroom for this period. We also noticed a septic leak or backup outside the house upon smelling a foul odor while outside and the fireplace (which worked half the time) ran out of propane. We alerted the property management company, Mighty Tree Properties, at 5:30am Christmas Eve and didn't hear back until nearly 4:00 pm later that day and someone made it to the house nearly 12 hours later to only temporarily get some water back on. It stayed on for a couple hours and was off again later that evening. The unacceptable conditions forced some of our Christmas party to leave early and head home. I wasn't so lucky because I had flight arrangements that could not be changed. The property management team wasn't very helpful and seemed to not overly care about our plight claiming it was harsh winter conditions the area was encountering. We will not return. The only reason it was bearable was our positive family dynamic and good spirit, other wise it would have been a complete and utter calamity. I would rate this house and our trip in the negative if I could.

Secluded getaway

My family and I had a amazing time at this property. It's close enough to all the attractions (Biltmore, downtown AVL) yet offers a sense of seclusion that only the mountains can! Lots to do in this home, thank you for hosting us!

Asheville Vacation for a small family

We stayed at this rental for a week to be close to Asheville and have space for our kids to play. The property was entertaining for the kids and well-maintained. There were some problems during our stay. The pool was unusable for 2 days, the internet service line was cut by a construction crew and we lost all internet for 2 days, and there were multiple times we were unable to access or leave the property due to nearby construction blocking the road. The road to the house is best for one car and can be completely blocked by construction. You have no control over when they will move. The management company was overall very responsive but could not fix most of our problems or they were limited in what they could do. Otherwise a beautiful home and we very much enjoyed our Asheville trip!
