Amazing180 degree Mountain View, Large Deck, 6 miles from Downtown Asheville

Relax, unwind and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets while sitting on the spacious 30’ deck, in the living room or at the dining room table. With 180 degree westward mountain views and a short 7 miles to downtown, you can enjoy Asheville and all it has to offer and soak in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains right from this like-new home. Whether you plan to visit the Biltmore Estate, explore the eclectic River Arts District, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, or explore the nearby Pisgah National Forest, Nantahala National Forest or Appalachian Trail, a King size bedroom and Queen size bedroom divided by a shared bathroom will leave you rested and ready for your Asheville getaway. Seating for six in the comfortable and cozy living and dining room. Asheville has the attention of foodies near and far, but if you choose to eat in, you also have a well appointed kitchen with all the necessities for making a superb meal at home.

We are located in a wonderful subdivision off New Leicester Hwy. Along with Appalachian Mountain View’s come a short, steeper driveway so AWD or 4WD vehicles are best. Paved roads lead to the home and other vehicles are fine if you aren’t intimidated by the challenge. Two night stay is minimum. Can't wait to host you!

Very clean!

The house was very clean! I was impressed that the house had supplies such as soap, shampoo, tinfoil, basic seasonings, tea, and laundry soap guests could use. The only downside is the driveway, you can’t be scared and use low gear. We parked on the street a few times and it was fine.

Weekend to visit daughter

The property is updated and well maintained. Views from the back deck are breathtaking! A warning about how the driveway is downhill and unbelievably steep would be helpfull as I wasn't sure my car would make it over the original curve downward without scraping the bottom, but it worked out ok. I could not have handled it in snow or ice. Every else was wonderful.

Good experience

Bret was a responsive and the home suited our needs with an unparalleled view. As the other reviews say, the driveway is no joke. Our 2WD SUV struggled to get up the driveway after rain, but Bret was quick to respond that street parking was not a problem.

Driveway was no joke. Would recommend adding comment (in addition to existing comments) about keeping full tank of gas in vehicle. We let rental car get low and car kept dying due to slope. Got out on 4th try. Filled tank and had no issues. Thank you for the accommodations. Our trip was awesome!

Great house+

House is great and comfortable. View is stunning. Kitchen has basic cooking supplies, couches are comfy, beds are extremely firm. Thankfull for the night light in the bathroom, plenty of fluffy bath towels. They have books and games throughout the family room. Great location, took about 15 minutes to get to downtown Asheville. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back!

The property was nice , with beautiful views. The driveway was very steep and made it challenging getting out of . Would have expected some basic items to be stocked as ( shampoo, soap, condiments: sugar No dishwasher soap or dish soap) Other than those items the rental was a wonderful experience.

1st trip to Asheville: Just like being at home!

We enjoyed are stay from beginning to end. Home is well maintained and communication from the time of booking to arrival was great. Property is in a quiet neighborhood which is nice when you are on vacation! If we decide to return in the future, this will be our top choice!

My wife and I stayed here for nine days. We found the home to be clean and well maintained. There is little I might add to the reviews already written about this home other than our host was easy to communicate with, responsive, and overall seemed like a great person.

Clean quiet getaway house

This rental was very nice, clean, and close to downtown Asheville. The only thing that you should be aware of is that the driveway is very steep. You will need 4-wheel drive to get back up to the road from the house. I don’t think I would have tried to park in the drive or next to the house if it was raining, even with 4-wheel drive. There is a grassy area on the other side of the road that you could park at.

Great property

This was as advertised. It was clean comfortable and convenient. It’s a short drive to the Biltmore and Asheville. The hosts communicate well and would definitely stay there again if in the area.
