"What a fantastic place to stay, the room was immaculate and well appointed. The staff / host were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Arundel Castle is probably the best castle we've visited, and there are lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes in the town. What a fab weekend away!"

"My friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...
"De kamer was erg warm en bedompt. Hotel is wat oubollig en mag wel een likje verf hebben. Buitenzijde ziet er niet uit, binnen is het redelijk. Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel zelf heeft geen eetgelegenheid. Werkt samen met ‘Beef Eater’ naast de deur. Ontbijt was zeer beperkt tot alleen zoetigheid, brood en pannenkoeken, of je moest het typisch Engels ontbijt kiezen. Verder geen kaas of vleeswaren.

"A lovely pub/reataurant with rooms. We stayed in ‘The Apartment’ that sleeps up to six people, with two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Four of us stayed comfortably and we will definitely stay here again. We had dinner and breakfast there, the food was lovely, and service second to none.
