"We had only booked for one night to go to family reunion. We will definitely consider returning. The space was very warm and welcoming. It is a great place if you have children (no matter what age) traveling with you. There are games and activities for all ages. There wasn't a kitchen so to speak but had all essential for breakfast and lunch, and a microwave to rehear a dinner. "

The location was remote enough for our liking, but was also close enough to larger cities to make it easy to get to.We stayed in the shire suite and because I am a big Lord of the Rings fan it made for great ambiance, especially the big round door.We would love to stay here again in the future."

"Peaceful, relaxing, and near to everything. Will definitely be back. We definitely have the privacy we need and still being near everywhere we need to be. The drive is 30 mins to Shenandoa, 1 hr to Luray Cavern and 30 mins to Monticello. We went to winery around as well. Resort is very responsive. Our car is awd and has its own navigation so it worked out fine for us. No cellular service but wifi is great. "

"The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. "

"This house is absolutely amazing from top to bottom. The view is even better in person than what you see in the pictures. The black stone was a very nice touch and allowed us to cook a wonderful meal one night. The house was fully stocked with all kitchen supplies that you would need. Internet was perfect and I was able to take a few work calls while there with no problem. The property is very secluded and you don’t see any neighbors while at the house! Very short drive to entrance of Shenandoah...

"Wonderful stay on a beautiful, quiet property. Photos don’t do it justice. Lovely grounds with gorgeous trees and a fenced in property (would be amazing for pets or kids). Loads of space on two levels with a Delightful game room on the lower level. Great communication with Lisa, a very responsive and kind host. Would stay again and for longer. "
