"It was the perfect place to stay for our family"

"My adult kids and I had a long awaited weekend at Fish Tales Cottage and really enjoyed our stay! We were super comfortable - the kitchen was very well stocked, and the location was fantastic. We spent part of one day at Botanical Beach and hiked down part of the Juan de Fuca trail. We walked to the pub for a meal and had great barbeques on the deck. Denise our host was super responsive to any questions I had and touched base during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Very...

"Cannot say enough about how much we love this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Bear Mountain getaway. The check in was smooth. The room was incredible. The environment was outstanding. We had a rough schedule because of what we ended up doing there but at night we were at ease. Rested well then move onto next day of another adventure. We are so grateful that we chose this place to rest."

"Newer listing that was perfect for my needs. Great hosts. Quiet neighborhood. Suite is clean and comfortable for one person or a couple. Close to several local places (food, shopping, entertainment). Would definitely stay here again if needed"

"Very nice unit with a comfortable living area to relax in, in addition to the bedroom. The back yard was available to sit outside and relax in which I did both mornings and one evening. Convenient to Victoria, 40 minutes away and closer attractions. Instructions to find and access were easy. Jerry was very pleasant to speak to."

"Extremely good value! Property as described-rustic and clean. Spacious and well stocked. Nice swimming spot in the river, too. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars all around is that none of the windows in the house can be opened (except one, right beside the door). On two days of our visit it was quite hot, and it was difficult to cool the house down. There were several fans which was nice-we just opened the door wide and ran the fans before bedtime.
