"Okay, so as long as you park within the parking space lines (for fire safety reasons) your stay at the Spindrift Guest House should be a great experience. The honesty bar in the lounge is extremely well-stocked. We did not partake, but the whisky selection according to my husband was excellent. The room is spacious and well-decorated. The bathroom is small and the height of the bath may be a bit tricky for some. No baths are allowed and I found the water temperature on the tepid side when I...

"Excellent property directly opposite the port. Old buildings as expected, but beautifully refurbished. My room was large, spotlessly clean and full of nice touches, including lots of tabletops and drawers. The big surprise was the bathroom. It was enormous with a large modern soaker tub, separate shower stall, wc and vanity. (The only downside is trying to find a parking spot which is very difficult throughout this town, so be prepared to drop off, or walk with your luggage.) The restaurant...

"As soon as we entered the room and opened the bathroom door there was an awful smell of wet dirty rag and the floor was wet. A member of staff offered to apply some airfreshner which did not solve the problem at all, it just hid it for a while. I think it was the bathtub drain. Remote controls were sticky and they wiped them after requested. Another member of staff said the manager could talk to us on checkout and give us a discount which makes me believe they know there's something wrong with...

"Lovely warm cottage in perfect location, would definitely recommend and will book again"

"När vi anlände så var det enkelt med nyckelhanteringen. Wifi:et funkade väldigt bra. Vad gäller området runt boendet så fanns det inte speciellt mycket i övrigt. Själva boendet var mycket bra med tre sovrum och tre badrum. Tillgången till parkering utanför var tillfredställande."

"The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The restaurant was excellent.. but you need to make reservations as soon as you check in. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Special place. Beach-view room is a must. Great breakfast."

"Excellent stay. Lovely farmland around the property. Easy to access lots or villages on the coast."

"Shower & bath tub had hairs in it, our booking stated a king bed but it was a double."

"A lovely old house kept in great condition. Our room was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. A great breakfast set us up for the day. The proprietors were friendly and helpful."
