Welcome to Anapauo Beachhouse! Pronounced ahn-ap-owā€™-o, it is a Greek word meaning to give rest, refresh, recover and collect strength. Come rest and be refreshed in one of the most beautiful and family friendly homes on the island! This luxurious home is stocked with everything you need for the perfect beach vacation. The Anapauo Beachhouse will certainly live up to its name!

You can't beat the location and view of this house! It is steps from the famous Anna Maria City Pier and historic Pine Avenue, and across the street from the turquoise waters and sugar white beaches of Tampa Bay. This beautiful and completely renovated beach home gives you an opportunity to sit back and enjoy an unobstructed view of Tampa Bay. The incredible water view is available from balconies off the main floor and from the two master bedrooms above. The two master bedrooms even have remote control blinds so you can wake up in the morning and see the waves hitting the beach without leaving your pillow!

If your idea of a vacation is relaxing and laying around a pool, this is the perfect house for you! The extremely spacious private pool area is situated behind the house surrounded by beautiful landscaping and palm trees. You'll never tire of swimming in the heated saltwater pool and hanging out in this beautiful pool area, the pool basketball hoop is a hit too! There is also a covered deck behind the house overlooking the swimming pool that gives you a great vantage point to watch the kids in the pool or entertain a group outdoors.

Are you done with the pool and looking for other activities and entertainment options? Work on your putting stroke on the four hole putting green, challenge some friends to a game of bocce ball, enjoy a board game or puzzle, grab the tandem kayaks or stand-up paddleboards and walk across the street to the beach, or explore the island on one of the bikes. There are bikes for everyone! Men's bikes, women's bikes, kids bikes, even a tandem bike! And please check out the list below for many other items included with the house at no charge!

Maximum occupancy of rental homes on Anna Maria Island are set by the Cities and are strictly enforced. An occupant is any person staying overnight, regardless of the number of nights. Due to recent issues of overcrowding in the area, if maximum occupancy is exceeded during your stay, a $1000 (one thousand dollar) overcrowding fee will be charged to the payment method on file and your party will be immediately evicted. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to keep Anna Maria Island enjoyable for everyone.

Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved staying in this home on Anna Maria island. The location is a dream and the views never get old. The backyard was the perfect hangout spot for our large family with so many fun things to do. It is very large, with a beautiful pool, and the perfect vacation vibe. We had some issues arise but the propert manager and owner were very receptive and eager to help. Being able to walk to the beach is important to us as my family likes to come and go as they please without waiting for the whole group. I would definitely recommend this house and plan on returning!

Over all amazing!

The house was perfect for our group. We loved the pool and the games/puzzles that were provided. My only complaint is the pots and pans in the cabinet were dirty and still had food on them so we had to wash them before we could cook.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is perfectly located and well equipped. It is directly across the street from the bay and while the bay has very little beach we enjoyed swimming there and paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing there. We only had to carry the equipment across the street. We also rented a golf cart and that was awesome to be able to get around the island easily. I highly suggest you rent one. The house also has pac'n'plays for the toddlers. No working gates though for the stairs. As far as the cleanliness of the house, I would not be able to rate it high. The blankets were not clean, nor the dishes and silverware. We had to clean that before we could use them. The A/C didn't work the first night on the 3rd floor and while we reported it and left multiple messages, we were never contacted. The 3rd floor bedrooms were 84 degrees the first night. The repair man just showed up the following day about 1:00 pm. It would have given me much comfort if the management had called me to let us know they were working on this. Once that was resolved everything was great.

Great place, great location. We had a wonderful time. The house could use a deep clean for sure and it would be nice if there were some cleaning supplies for simply wiping down the counters, etc. Overall, great spot. Can't beat the backyard or the location! Thank you. We will be back.

The house was roomy but really needs to be updated and needs some investments in cookware, bedding, beach supplies and amenities. For the price, very disappointing. Yard very roomy and was the nicest feature but furniture is worn. Stains on bedding and low thread count sheets. Decor very dated. No hot water in master tub. Neighbors were noisy and the smell of weed was prevalent the entire stay.

All that was advertised and more!

We had a group of 4 couples, the space was good . The room with twin/double was the short straw but still had own bath across the hall. All the toys, easy walking distance to shops. Farmers Market on Tuesday provided a chance to cook in the large kitchen.

Girls Reunion

This was one AMAZING home. The location of the house is over the top,, out the front door and steps to the Beach. The weather was not on our side the first few days but we spent most of the time on the upstairs deck. The view of the Bay is amazing especially the sunrises. Easy access to everything including restaurants, shopping and of course 2 Scoops Ice Cream. This is a home we will be returning to for our next reunion!!

My favorite house

This is my second stay at this house. Itā€™s my absolute favorite home. The pool, kayaks, pool toys, ice maker, beach cart and chairs made everything so convenient. My only suggestion is to have a first aid kit within the house.

Great house with amazing view

This was our first time on the island we could not have lucked out with a better location. Close to the pier and pine st and an amazing view of the bay. House was great with plenty of room for all and the backyard was a private sanctuary. Weā€™d stay here again!

Best place ever

We were to go on a cruise that got canceled two years in a row and had three days to figure out where we were going, and we found this beauty that made everything so much better. Once we got down there we had so much fun we had six teenagers with us that we never seen ever because there is so much to do there. We may have to make this a yearly visit. If you ever think to rent this place you will have the time of your life.

Perfect Location to Enjoy Anna Maria Island!

Nine lifelong girlfriends cozied into this lovely home for a week and loved every minute! It's important for us to cook and share our meals at one table, do 1000 piece puzzles in the living room, and have a bed for every body... This home delivered! Family Get Together

Perfect house for large groups. Beautiful views from the front porch to relaxing on the back porch overlooking the pool. Large open floor plan allows everyone to gather & be together. Our only wish is that the front porch had the missing ceiling fans installed so we could have had a breeze when sitting out. But I would definitely recommend this home for your getaway.

Best vacation place!

The property was perfect for the 10 of us! The views were outstanding from all the balconies. The Location was so convenient to everything! Best part for us was the pool area! Full stocked with floats etc. kayaks and paddle boards perfect for the bay across the street! Kitchen was equipped exceptionally well! Hope to rent this house again!

Perfection

Our party of 9 greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was perfect, the pool area was fantastic, the views of the bay off of the balconies amazing. There was plenty of space and privacy for all, a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds and gorgeous finishing touches to the home. If I had to think of something negative to say, all I can come up with is that the seats in the kayaks were in rough shape with broken straps...thus we couldn't use them. The bikes were great though! Wonderful location near The Waterfront restaurant and Two Scoops ice cream. I really hope to stay here again in the future.

Couldnā€™t be better!

This property was amazing- from amenities, to view, to location. House was stocked with anything you would need! Decor was beautiful and practical. Beds comfortable. Family room/kitchen a great setup for our group to visit together, views on the balconies from front and back were relaxing and beautiful. Shirt walk to the public pier and local shops, including Two Scoops ice cream less than a block away! We would love to come back!

A home away from home.

Anapauo Beachhouse provided a welcome backdrop for much needed family time. The house was spacious, with plenty of room for our group of seven to gather and then break away for quiet time in separate areas. The view was beautiful and entire home and pool were well maintained. We found everything we needed from dishware and towels to bikes and pool toys -- and then some. The property was spotless and convenient to local restaurants and shops. We are looking forward to visiting again next year.
