"We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

"Lovely overall 10-day stay with our 2 families in this beautifully decorated and well appointed house; plenty of room, comfy beds, fantastic water pressure, amazing social family kitchen with range cooker, fridge freezer and drinks fridge. "Fantastic property with everything we needed for our stay. Easy to find thanks to great instructions (and Google maps). Supermarkets are quick to get to by car and there’s a variety of brands. We stayed during the 41 heatwave so the pool was a welcome relief. The bedrooms could have done with mosquito nets for the windows but we were provided with fans so that helped us sleep. Travel cot and highchair were provided so less to take in the car!All in all a great property and we’d go back if we...
