"We stayed here for a long weekend with our UCONN student to give him a change of scenery and to spend some quality time with him. The Bungalow is conveniently close to campus, warmly decorated and has lots of activities to foster quality family time and memories. My son especially enjoyed adventuring out on the lake with the kayaks. There are also many hiking trails nearby that we enjoyed."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We had lots of space for my 4yo to run around and each of my 3 kids had their own room. The house was very clean and the host was easily able to contact if I had questions or concerns. We would def. stay here again"

"We were able to stay @ this location for several days just before the holidays. The space was perfect for the running around we needed to do and was a solid base of operation. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom are well-appointed. We did not spend any time in the living room or outside areas. The water pressure in the shower is amazing and I could spend hours there. :) The home is on a busy road at commute times so take the owner's advice and K turn in the driveway to make exiting the home...

"I had the opportunity to stay here with 5 other adult family members. We all really enjoyed the space, the comfort and lake view. We only wish it was summer so we could take advantage of the beach and water toys. We would definitely consider staying here again if we head that way to visit family again in Connecticut."

"Overall we were generally OK with our stay! Improvements that would be appreciated: Upgrade Dining and Living room furniture, it was dated and in poor condition. Upgrade Kitchen Utensils, no cutting knife, poor quality and quantity of Pots and Pans , the two can openers did not work, it was very frustrating preparing meals. The silverware was low quality. Its hard enough to be away from our families working all week your experience did not fell like a home away from home but more of a cheep...

"Just a couple miles from campus, great locale for a family stay. Bonus chocolate pretzels upon arrival appreciated. Very great communication from hosts. It is an older cottage w quirks of an older house w original bathroom w no mirror, steep staircase to basement off the kitchen, small TV, but great for playing some games and close place to sleep/shower."

"This is a comfy, rustic cabin. It was so much better than staying in a hotel, as we cooked our meals, washed laundry, had more privacy with two bedrooms and saved a lot by chosing this. There was plenty of room for my son and his friend to visit us. "

"Our family stayed at this property while enjoying family weekend at UConn. The home was a nice distance between campus and fun activities. The house was clean and well stocked with amenities. We missed having a hot tub as was the reason we chose this home, but the views in the backyard were beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!"
