The space
The cabin is loved by all... suitable for full-time living. Walls and ceilings are lined in rustic solid wood, floors are cozy carpet. Kitchen is fully equipped with full sized appliances, bender, toaster oven,, Keurig coffee maker. Beds are super comfy with high quality linens and pillows. The queen Simmons BeautyRest pillow top mattress is especially sumptuous. Large balcony deck is great for BBQs and beautiful views of our 2-acre front yard. Our house is on the other side of the pond. High speed internet with TV & Flex Box to access apps (if you want it). You might just want to shut off the wifi and soak up the energy of nature to rejuvenate your own energy! Let us know and we'll remove the TV for you!

You'll have your own 1/10 mile driveway leading to a small parking lot, with room for 5+ cars, just steps away from your front door. There is no step up into the first floor, so it's accessible for disabled people if they are ok sleeping on the twin bed in the living room. It doubles as a daybed, with lots of pillows.
You're just 4 miles from major Interstate highways, but would never know it! You can get to shopping, restaurants, University of CT within 15-minutes and casinos or Hartford within 30-40 minutes.
Other things to note
The spiral staircase, up to the huge bedroom, can be challenging for those who are extra tall, wide, or physically compromised. Some dogs have a rough time climbing the spiral too, and carrying them up is not a safe idea. But there's an outside stairway to the balcony with a doorway into the upstairs bedroom and workspace. In very cold weather, it may not be wise to count on that doorway at bedtime.
One more thing... we have a septic system and well water, so it is important that you never put anything but TP in toilets and nothing but non-toxic liquids in the sinks/shower.
