"We enjoyed going down to the beach and hiding from the rain drops under the willow tree ( in a hammock) ..walked to the lighthouse and enjoyed the park like setting of the estate. Felt like I was in a Pacific Northwest version of a Jane Austin novel . "

"If I could give it more stars, I would. This lovely cottage is clean and comfortable and offers everything you need to enjoy a waterfront experience. The views are spectacular and we saw all kinds of wildlife right from the deck. An eagle, otters, seals, dolphins, herons and more. Amazing. We hope to return someday."

"Great location and perfect amount of space for us while we visited family who live on island. Only thing of note would be that many windows lacked covering which made it hard for us east coasters to sleep. We solved for this with eye masks. "

"We were very impressed with the beekeeper’s cottage. It was beautifully decorated, easy to get to, and had just about everything we needed. We got in late at night after a concert and were able to park in our designated spot and get to the cottage easily. We were greeted with a lovely welcome note, a bottle of wine, honey products, some candies, and coupons for local shops. We spent most of our days out on the town and didn’t get to meet our hosts but we could tell just how much thought and love...

"Wonderful place for a week of beautiful views, outside dinning, swimming and paddle boarding with the family. This place is amazing. Hood canal views from everywhere in the house. We really liked hanging at the deck, cooking , eating, drinks and playing board games by the fire pit. House is super comfortable. Love the kitchen and the brand new appliances. Sleeps 8 comfortable. We were 4 so had plenty of room. Hope to return. "

"Directions were good. Had all the amenities we needed. Coffee was provided which was a plus. Instructions and check out info was simple and easy to follow. There is a great view of Ranier, but unfortunately it was cloudy or raining most of the time. It was close and convenient to get to where we needed to go. "
