"This is a great property, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Also in beautiful surroundings….so why not 5 stars? I was here for three nights so the “cons” outweighed the “pros” for me. Firstly, it was (and still is) advertised as having FREE WIFI. This is important to me as I was here for work and need internet access when I’m working away. Reality - there is no internet! I did find an EE mobile wifi router in one of the kitchen drawers, but once I switched it on and connected to it,...

"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. "The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 "
