Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The heated floors in the living room was so appreciated with our single digit and minus temps after coming in from outside. . The view of the lights on the mountain from the back porch/hot tub area was amazing! And the hot tub was a pleasant 104. Perfect! Thank you!

Beautiful view from Hot tub and back area. Loved all the vegetation and eagles!!!Comfortable beds bathrooms may need updating; shower curtains a little gross. Would love to revisit in the snow!!!!

Fun stay

We enjoyed our stay with our family; there were 4 of us. Nice house with amenities. Beautiful surroundings including a stream that runs alongside the house; we could’ve enjoyed that more from the master bedroom and one of the upstairs bedrooms had the blinds worked. The strings were missing and rendered the blinds nonfunctional. The hot tub was very nice just be careful opening and closing the lid. It is very heavy and not secured to the hot tub. It almost slid off and took two people to get it open and closed. We would still stay here again.

I always use VRBO, I was not allowed early check in, due to them saying they needed time to clean, which no one was even staying ahead of us. When I arrived the house was very dirty, not cleaned and the hot tub was filthy. I’m very disappointed with my stay. The house was beautiful and needs updating. The couch was filthy and the blinds were all broken. This house could be so beautiful if taken care of. The views outside were amazing.

Beautiful cabin but could not enjoy the porch

We had 3 couples and we all enjoyed the inside of the cabin. It is centrally located in Girdwood and it was easy to go where ever we wanted to from the cabin. The neighbors are close. The view from the back windows and back porch was stunning! The only thing we did not like was the large step down from the back door to the back porch. We would have all been in and out that door a lot but we only went out a couple times because the step really seemed dangerous. One of the couples in our group have a VRBO and they could not believe how unsafe that step was. An accident waiting to happen.

Girdwood Alyeska Ski Trip

Location was good, 2 minutes to town, 4 minutes to ski area! Hot tub with a view of the slopes was awesome! The woodwork and craftsmanship of the home was fantastic! The place could probably use a fresh coat of paint and updated floor coverings where applicable, but otherwise it was great!!!

Great Stay

Liked in floor heating Home was very clean. Kitchen was stocked with spices and well suppled with dishes and pots and pans. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking. Definitely would consider staying there again.

Very comfortable stay

Our family (two grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids) really enjoyed spending 4 nights here in July. Beds were comfortable, the house was spacious, the hot tub was amazing with views looking out over forest and mountain. From here we did several day trips: Spencer Glacier Whistle Stop tour, Philips 26 Glacier Cruise out of Whittier, the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and the Crow Creek Mine. We had a wonderful time and would recommend! Just one thing to point out- the twin bed is on the upstairs landing so would not work for someone sensitive to summer light (no blackout curtains here) or noise from the living room area below- our 8 year old slept here and loved it though.

Great house in a great location

This was a great house for my family of 6. We really enjoyed the location, views, and hot tub. We could easily walk to the main area of Girdwood. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the living room area. Overall a great and easy stay.

This is a great area to stay if you are doing your own self drive Alaskan trip. We liked that Girdwood allowed us to travel to Kenai Fjords, Portage Glacier and the wildlife preserve with ease. House is beautiful. Very large, only three of us on this trip and it was way too big for us. The only issue we had was trying to find the trash dumpster (we drove around and around twice and still couldn’t locate). Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen.

Wonderful cozy cabin in the woods

Everyone in our party kept complimenting the home daily! It was very well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings and many hikes nearby. The Tram was worth the price for me as well. Another memorial vacation and anniversary in the books!

Magical views

Our stay was fabulous, the location is perfect, and the backyard view is breathtaking. My family loved this spot the best of all the places we stayed during our visit to AK. The sounds of the creek in the back was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Setting

Although communication with Vacassa was atrocious the stay at the home was amazing. I didn't receive check-in information until less than 24 hours prior to check-in even though I messaged them 2 times the week prior to our trip. I also messaged them during our stay and have never received a response to any of the 3 messages. The listing states that the PM responds within hours, they do not. Once we were at the property it was amazing. The home was very inviting, spotless, very homey and comfortable. The area was safe. The property was beautiful and the stream right outside our bedroom was music to my ears. We were close to restaurants, stores and attractions. I highly recommend the property, the property management company, nt so much.
