"The staff was efficient, pleasant, helpful and attentive. Our room was very clean and welcoming. The bed very comfortable, good tv viewing and great location. Walking distance to beach and a couple of seafood restaurants. Easy (short) drive to historic area and sites. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay."

"Very comfortable beds. The breakfast included a very nice selection of hot food items, assorted breads,fruit, and cereal. The only down side is the parking but that is to be expected in downtown Fernandina."

Our room was a bit small, the picture made the room look bigger than it was, The beach was a bit further than i thought because i miss read and thought we were on ocean front but at least we only had to cross the road, no counter space, and missing things that you find at any hotel but other than that , it had more postive than the negative. "The room is one of the better ones among hotels this price- good size, nice living room/kitchen, and separated bathroom/sinks. More homelike than other hotel rooms. One of the mornings, breakfast was outstanding (bacon, potatoes, egg omlets) along with waffles. Overall, everything was a moderate cut above other 3/4 star hotels. And the shuttle was very helpful. Closeness to the beach didn’t hurt either. Very satisfied. "

"Love the old charm of the building. If your looking for super fancy, this isn't the place and that's exactly what I loved about it! It was fun to explore. Shopping and food very close. Fort Clinch only about 5 minutes away. Love Fernandina. Will definitely stay again. "
