"The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. "Excellent bed and breakfast, host was very friendly and helpful, room and amenities were excellent and attention to detail was fantastic. Close to the train station and on site parking. Would definitely stay again."

"This was a great last minute find, 40 mins from Gatwick and great staff, from check in, to bar service and check out.
Family room was more than big enough for two adults and a child of 11.
Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner included.
Breakfast was simple but enough, continental style help yourself but was good too.
Will stay here again whether using Heathrow or Gatwick.

"I cannot speak highly enough of this Hotel. Our stay was enhanced by the ambience, the welcome we received and the service was exceptional. A most relaxing and enjoyable experience in a house that is so steeped in history, but so comforrable. Can't wait to visit again. Highly recomnended. Thank you Robina and Val. "

"The hotel and pub were very pleasant. The rooms were well-equipped and the food was excellent.
However, the service at the pub was inconsistent. While some tables were served, we were not and this was unclear.
The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. However, the room temperature was excessively high. We were forced to leave the room to cool down despite the outside temperature being over 35°C. The room was significantly hotter than the outside. Although fans were provided,...
