"We've stayed before, the hotel overall is extremely good and staff in all areas and departments are polite and very helpful. The hotel is quite busy remains quiet and relaxing. If there is a downside, the bathrooms are tired and need upgrading. We always have an exec room. They have been modernised and upgraded, with the exception of carpets. But the bathrooms have not. Our extractor fan didn't work at all. "

"Wonderful hotel from the beautiful facade and wonderful welcome from friendly staff to the beautiful, clean well appointed room. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. We were bowled over as we brought our two dogs and are used to getting dingy yet to be updated rooms. Here the dogs were welcomed with a biscuit and the room supplied dog beds, bowls and toys. "We stayed only one evening. Young woman on reception was friendly and smiley. Ordinary double room was very clean with a lovely soft comfy bed. We had the carvery in the evening which was wonderful. Amazing value for money. Breakfast was delicious with friendly helpful staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Our thanks to all staff for a happy stay. "

Monica welcomed us with an efficient and informative check-in and shared parking details and recommended we visit the Turkish Baths, so we did! Great location about a 10 minute walk from most things. All in all, a lovely visit, and wishing Monica and co-owner all good things. If we pass through Harrogate again, there is only one place we will stay!"
