"The apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and well maintained. The only slight problem was the shower was very slow to drain away and at one point I was worried the water was going to go over the top of the shower tray. (But it didn't) We didn't cook in the apartment but it had everything you would need if you choose to. There was even a dishwasher and washing machine. "The property itself was well presented and clean, and the room was also clean on arrival. However, we had booked a "Luxury King Room" and felt the description was somewhat misleading. The bed was actually a double rather than a king-size bed (which I later noticed is stated in the room details), so the room name itself felt confusing. I’d also say the "luxury" description was an overstatement, as the room felt more basic/average than expected. Unfortunately, we had quite a poor night's sleep....

"Very good hotel within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Harrogate. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. "Hotel fab, staff and service excellent - disappointed in the pickled sprout restaurant, a very heavy unseasonal menu for our liking, sharers hard to share unless you both like the same thing - not enough balance, starters missing meat options and a burger including chips was no veggie options - I’m not veggie) which, they may be fab quality, but need to recognise the market isn’t always captive"

"The hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that left a mark was the bed, it was quite uncomfortable because it was not a double bed but one that was made up for two out of a single and what seemed to be a sort of pull out bed. That was the only minor thing during what was otherwise a lovely stay!! We did highlight to staff and hopefully they will upgrade the bed. Thank you to the staff who were brilliant !!!"
