All-Season Adventure at Your Doorstep:

Warm up beside the crackling indoor fireplace or soak in the wood-fired hot tub under a blanket of stars. For a bigger adventure, Kimberley Alpine Resort is only a 40-minute drive, with excellent downhill skiing, snowboarding, and a network of scenic cross-country ski trails.

Property Boundaries: Your private use area runs from the entrance driveway on the west side (behind the cottage) all the way to the water’s edge. Anything beyond the greenhouse to the south is a shared common space.

📶 Cell Service – Reception can be spotty; Wi-Fi calling is the most reliable option.

🛶 Boat Launch – There is no on-site boat launch, but several public launches are nearby.

🛁 Wood-Fired Hot Tub – A guest favourite! Please note it requires prep time. Detailed instructions are provided for safe, enjoyable use.

🏡 The Nut Hut – Detached guest cabin available May–Sept only (unheated, so temperatures can be below room temp in colder months).

🦌 Wildlife & Insects – Our retreat is in a true wilderness setting, where animals freely come and go. Guests may see deer, elk, geese, and many types of birds. It is also normal to find animal tracks or droppings in the yard, driveway, and at the beach—particularly goose droppings along the shoreline. This is part of the natural lakefront environment and is considered guest-maintained. Cleaning tools are provided, and insect repellent is recommended in warmer months. Please do not feed wildlife, and keep pets under control at all times.

📺 Entertainment – Large flatscreen TV (downstairs) with Apple TV subscription and HDMI cables for your own device. No cable service.

🔊 Music – Guests are welcome to bring their own speaker; none are provided on-site.

🐾 Pets – Pets are welcome! Please keep them off the furniture, clean up after them (including in the yard), and maintain a safe distance from wildlife.

🔇 Quiet Hours – Out of respect for neighbours and wildlife, quiet time is from 11 PM to 8 AM.

🔥 Fire Safety – Please observe local fire bans and never leave campfires unattended.

🛶 Water Safety – Life jackets are provided and strongly recommended when using the dock, kayaks, or paddle boards.

🧼 Cleaning – Guests are expected to tidy up before departure and follow the checkout list provided.

🌿 Shared Area – Anything beyond the greenhouse to the south is a shared common space.

❄️ Winter Guests – A vehicle with winter tires is strongly recommended in snowy months. Please use caution around thin ice near the lake.
