Amazing we have returned twice in 2 months
The home is cozy feels as if its your own. Clean, stocked with pots, pans plates etc. to be precise all necessary comforts. The deers make it an even better experience, they eat apples out of your hand if allowed from the fence line. We will be back over and over again. A must , must must for adults and kids!!

Great Place
This is a great little house with plenty of room. Everything was clean and comfortable. Deer came walking right by the fence. We had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it!

Highly Recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and well stocked with everything we possibly needed. Our pups enjoyed the fenced in yard and we loved seeing deer each day. The gas fireplace and provided hot cocoa was an added bonus. It is a convenient location to many attractions and our host was fabulous. We definitely recommend this house. And, if you have a chance, visit Woody's Country House Restaurant a few miles down the road.

Second stay
This is the second time I brought my kids to this cottage for a getaway, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Very relaxing, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Great comms with owner and no issues.

Dog friendly
Perfect place if you have dogs, yard is very secure. Property manager was very helpful to us throughout the whole process not just during our stay.

Fabulous and Comfy!
I took my two daughters (almost 10 and 11) and their besties and our dog for a weekend away. The house is amazing! Great layout, incredibly comfortable beds, paper products onsite and an amazing fenced in huge back yard! The girls and I could roast our marshmellows and not worry about our dog! We were super close to everything and enjoyed the homey comforts after a day out. Would absolutely rent again.

Perfect!
This has been the perfect venue for our family’s early Thanksgiving Getaway! The cottage is so cozy, the decorating thoughtful and beautiful. The Master Suite was a hit, as were the downstairs bedrooms. The cozy kitchen/dining area were perfect for gathering and informal dining. The living room was perfect for lounging. And the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Thank you Will for being such a good communicator. The whole process was seamless!

Great dog-friendly cabin
The cabin was the perfect place for our “working vacation” in the Poconos. Close to hiking trails and our dogs loved the fenced in yard and spent most of their time outside looking for deer. The cabin was cozy and we enjoyed the fireplace as well. Definitely would rent again.

Nice, cozy and love the fenced in backyard
The house was nice. We enjoyed seeing all the deer wandering through the neighborhood. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs to run and play.

Jim Thorpe 2023
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was well stocked with everything we needed and it was extremely clean. Since we had a rainy trip, we spent more time in the house then we had planned, and felt very cozy. I also liked the fenced in yard for our dog and seeing many deer each day. It is a convenient location to Jim Thorpe, which was our focus this time. The owner had great communication and offered many ideas of things to do. Highly recommended home!!!

Great yard for small dogs!
I took two of my small dogs here for a weekend hiking getaway to celebrate my dog's 15th birthday (yes, I'm that person). We had a lovely time. I wasn't sure the yard would be truly secure for small dogs, but wow, the fencing goes all the way to the ground and is angled in at the bottom. Small detail, but did wonders for my comfort level. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay
This rental was lovely and I highly recommend it. My husband and I went up to Jim Thorpe for a concert and stayed for a couple nights, because we wanted a little place out in the woods and this place was perfect. Everything went smoothly.

The perfect getaway!
We LOVED our stay at the Cozy Cottage Getaway. Towamensing Trails is a beautiful area with plenty of deer. Many even came up to the fence! The home itself felt like it was plucked right out of a movie — charming, quaint, cozy. It rained during our stay so it was nice to snuggle up with our pups and play board games. The home was clean, the yard was large and fenced-in, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with cooking utensils, coffee pods, etc. (You will need to either go to the Dollar General right outside of the neighborhood or the Hazle Meat Market up the road for groceries.) Will was an excellent host who answered my many questions! He responded promptly and kindly and made us feel right at home. We can hardly wait to plan our next stay! Notes: Don’t forget your wristbands if you’re in the lake area! Security did check to make sure we had ours. Also, there was no recycling on Sunday which was a bummer. Not sure if that’s a regular weekly thing or if the compactor was out of service that day.

Relaxing and cozy stay
Clean and cozy house where my college kids on spring break and I were able to connect and spend quality time playing games, cooking, reading, and watch movies. Amazing and relaxing week. Loved the fireplace which made the family area and kitchen warm and cozy. A few heavy snow sessions contributed to the ambience. Loved it all around.

Christmas Getaway
My family of 5 including our fur baby enjoyed a very cozy Christmas. The house was clean, comfortable, and the space was perfect for our family, our favorite part was sitting by the fireplace enjoying movies together. The house is located in a very quiet development and is perfect for enjoying nature with the occasional deer prancing around. Communication with owner was very good. Peaceful retreat in a cozy cabin
The property was a described, cozy and comfortable in peaceful surroundings. It was one of the few cabins we could rent and bring our three dogs! Will was a very responsive host. The cabin was comfortable and we loved taking our dogs for long walks in the neighborhood. Each house has woods around it and is blissfully quiet at night. To the delight of our dogs the deer were frequent visitors. Towmensing Trails is a great location near Lake Harmony, Jim Thorpe, Mt Pocono and only 45 minutes from the Delaware Water Gap. Perfect location! We’ll be back.

Just what we needed
The property is beautiful inside. Everything you need is available. The only suggestion I have is to provide better directions for the trash to be dropped off at and to have a curtain or something similar for the main door. I enjoyed my stay. Saw nature at its best, and the communication with the owner was great!!! I’d definitely come back.

Decent place, well-trafficked rental unit
It's a fine house in the Trails neighborhood. However, it's a well trafficked place (many worn and broken ammenities), dims light bulbs and plastic pillow cases and normal furnishing of a camp-styled rental. Also (no fault of host) the Lake closes most summers due to e-coli and it was all closed when we got there (seems too many geese use the lake).

House is great, very clean, all you need. Great back yard.
Home is great. The pool area has too many rules, you don't have chairs to sit by the pool, you can not eat or drink poolside. They do have tables outside pool gate and they sell food. But if you have kids and to monitor them with hot sun where you can't drink anything is very boring. The beach is a bit better. The staff are not very welcoming to club house. The home itself is great....

While the wildlife was completely as advertised, the home is small for the amount of people the description lists. With 6 adults (ages 21 to 58) and a toddler, there was inadequate seating in the living room and the kitchen utensils were woefully inadequate requiring. The tiny upstairs bathroom was also problematic for adults as we were constantly hitting our heads on the ceiling when using the sink. It's a nice home but it is definitely designed for a small group and for shorter adults. I have, however, learned to look at square footage when booking on Vrbo as this was the first time I have used this site and have never had to consider this before when doing rentals through a realty company.

Cozy convenient place
We had a wonderful time at this place. We came in May and it was rainy the whole weekend, luckily the house is so warm we barely used the fire place. The big deck is the perfect spot for the constant deer watching and the fact that we could bring our fur baby was a game changer. Our hosts were ALWAYS available and helpful, they recommended places to dine and to visit. Thank you for a wonderful family weekend, we will be back!
