"Check in was very simple. The kitchen was well-appointed with cookware for most every need."

"This was our second stay at Rest Area West, and it was just as perfect as the first. The property is well suited to groups, and it includes extra touches such as multiple refrigerators and dishwashers, and the pool is always a welcome way to end a great day at the beach (which is mere steps away!). We will definitely be back."

The location was great - close to the west end beach and the little pond and bay access were a great little private getaway and kids could run to and from the house as needed. beautiful views from both front and back porches and plenty of seating to just sit and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. "Very nice place to stay. Location and views were excellent. Very short path to the beach. House was clean and spacious, well maintained and stocked. Beds were comfy. Lots of beach toys/equipment, too. We enjoyed the kayak and boogie boards. Screened porch a great place to hang out. Cargo lift is such a plus when hauling supplies in and out. (We ordered groceries to be delivered from Greer’s Fowl River.) Host very responsive.There were 18 of us, 8 adults, 10 children ages 2-8 and this place was...

"House was great and just what we needed. We had 8 people and more than enough room with 2 beds we didn’t even use. You’re able to walk straight to the water from the house. We’re all in decent shape and had no issue but I could see some would maybe need to drive a short, less than 1/2 mile, to the beach access in Morgantown. "
