The studio is located in a separate building within the grounds of the Maison, an historic structure that was once a redoubt—one of the two ancient towers guarding the harbor entrance—which later became the home of the signal keepers and then the lighthouse keepers.
It has passed from the kings to the Republic, without ever having had private owners or even a deed of sale, until today, when it has been welcoming you since 2013 for your summer vacations.
