"The place itself was so nice. Scenic and after we replaced the batteries in two smoke alarms, very peaceful. It had plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. No salt, pepper or anything like that. Also no foil or plastic wrap, etc. We were not prepared for that when we tried to cook breakfast. Every other short term rentals we’ve used in past had those type of supplies. Property definitely needs a little upkeep. That area had a lot of rain, but the grass is very long and light bulbs need...

"VRBO and the host double booked the place. After a long drive we arrived to a house full of guests who were already unpacked and very unhappy to see us. VRBO's "VRBO Care" would have had us moved from a 4 bedroom house to a hotel for one night, and then the remaining nights at a similar place nearby (but that we would need to find on our own). This was unacceptable so we asked for a full refund."

"Ashley was fantastic. House was exactly what we needed. One thing you may want to advertise is that there a nice pickleball courts just a 5 minute walk away along with a coffee shop. Such convenience but still in a beautiful mountain setting. I wish we had brought our racquets. "
