Seaside Luxury Villa with Terrace in Aegina Island | Aneli Villa Aegina

The luxurious Villa Aneli is located in the northwest of the island, in one of the most prestigious areas of Aegina, 2.5km from the capital of the island and the harbor. It is fully renovated and it features a typical Aegean architecture with simple, clean lines. The white and the blue color are dominant. The interior decoration is modern and new. It is fully air-conditioned with the latest equipment. Two very beautiful beaches are within 120m. The sea is seen from almost everywhere in the villa.
Villa Aneli is fortunate to be along the coastal route, where a unique series of 34 well preserved neoclassical buildings impresses the visitor: towers, mansions, kapodistrian, classical, neoclassical, modern, folk, captain and many newer beautiful architectures, designed by legendary Greek architects.
The villa is set in a 550sqm plot, full of pistachio and pine trees. It has a total area of 153 sqm and extends into two main levels - ground floor and first floor. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people.
On the ground floor there is a living room of 40 sqm with a fireplace, a dining table for 8 people and two large sofas with coffee and laptop tables, a TV, a DVD and CD player. Next to the living room there is the fully equipped kitchen and 5 steps higher there are a double bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with shower decorated with Aegean blue tiles.
The stairs to the first floor leads to a small lounge with spectacular views of the sea and of the Peloponnese and Athens. There, one can sit on a comfortable couch, drink coffee and enjoy unique moments of relaxation. This couch is also converted into a double bed. At the same level there is another bedroom with a double bed and its own independent bathroom with shower. From this bedroom too, the view is magnificent. Another 5 steps upstairs, there is the third bedroom of the villa, which is a master bedroom with a double bed and its own en-suite large bathroom with a bathtub decorated with lovely emerald tiles. The view from the door-window in front of the bed is panoramic.
The many and large windows allow the visitor to enjoy the view of a wonderful landscape. Τhe sunset from the first floor balconies is amazing and invites you to enjoy it. The colors, that brighten the island, every single hour of the day, whether in broad summer sunshine or under cloudy sky are unique.
These colors inspired some of the greatest modern Greek painters and they all developed a passion for the island. Artists, writers, poets, intellectuals, sculptors began for a simple visit and became "captives" of the Aeginian aura.
In each bedroom, as well as in the sofa-bed area, there is an electric radiator for heating during the winter season.
On the ground floor terrace there is a large, built, roofed BBQ, as well as a traditional wood oven for those who have the desire to make their own pizza or bread in the old way. There is an outdoor dining table for 6 persons. Next to the above, is the old, stone-made well of the house, with its beautiful, handmade, iron mangle.
There is a great variety of recreational activities that can be chosen.
Take a swim at the smooth sandy beaches of the island, or dive into extraordinary waters from the countless rocky spots of Aegina.
Have a mud bath in yellow claystone, which for more than 3,000 years does miracles for the local ceramists. Its properties benefit your body and skin better than any spa.
Take walks and cycling along the coastal road that runs around the island.
Visit the 4 monuments of antiquity that dominate the island. The “Kolona”, where was the acropolis of ancient Aegina, the temple of Apollo, the temple of Ellanian Zeus (the visit can be combined with magnificent trekking at the top of the 500m and some Oros mountain), and the temple of Athena Aphaia. The last one is the best preserved ancient temple that survives today.
Eat in excellent restaurants scattered throughout the island, some of which are very close to our villa.
Wander around the town of Aegina and its marina full of yachts. There you can enjoy delicious meals, coffee and great pastries, shop, go to summer cinema and have drinks. In early September, the traveler can visit the annual pistachio festival and taste unique products.
