"Great place for people of all ages. Several accommodation options. Rental of a golf cart to get around the resort was a plus. Many activities throughout the resort. Many good quality restaurants are available within a short drive. We really enjoyed wine tasting at Barboursville Winery in Barboursville, Va. Beautiful winery with knowledgeable staff. We are definitely looking forward to returning to Shenandoah Crossings in the near future. "

"THIS is a guilty pleasure. Love the location and isolation of this property. They have a couple dining options and great room service. Most importantly, they’re pet friendly and my “boys”, Louie and Logan are treated like rock stars. Great walking grounds, and the rooms are fabulous where you just want to stay in and relax. "

"Our young family throughly enjoyed our stay and I wish we had had more time to enjoy more of the property as we spent most of our days out with the friends that we were visiting. This place was perfect for our family of 4. Each room has a ceiling fan which is great for the hot July weather. And I greatly appreciated how well stocked everything was as I forgot shampoo for my children and there were two options for me to choose from which was so helpful. We will certainly stay here again. "Beautifully renovated historic home that welcomes you from the moment you drive in. The property is vast and the immediate grounds are very well maintained with many activities to interest all-pool, hiking trails, and croquet. The public spaces androoms are well put together while maintaining their historic integrity. Grab a crab cocktail at the in-house bar and have dinner in any of the well appointed dining spaces. A great place to stay before/after a visit to Monticello."
