This was our second stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the excellent experience we had on our first visit. We chose to return specifically because the first time we were impressed with the wide range of vegetarian options and how accommodating and attentive the staff were.
This time, however, vegetarian choices were very limited, and we did not experience the same level of care or effort from the staff. The room quality was average at best and noticeably below what we had previously. There was no turndown service, and toiletries and bottled water were not replenished during our stay.
The bathroom layout was particularly poor, especially the toilet, which was positioned directly next to the wall, making it very uncomfortable and practically unusable. We did ask to change rooms due to this issue, but the staff were not accommodating.
Breakfast was also a shambles, with the restaurant clearly short-staffed and food frequently not being replenished.
Overall, we did not feel valued or made to feel special during this stay. Despite being advertised as a 5-star hotel, based on our experience we would rate it closer to a 4-star property. This visit was disappointing compared to our first, and we would reconsider returning in the future.
