"The staff are amazingly helpful, polite and friendly. They made us feel incredibly welcome despite our very late arrival. The waterhole, good and service are great and this has been our experience in Kenya so far. Love the overnight buzzer system which alerts you based on number of buzzes as to which animals have arrived at the waterhole The Ark needs new windows and the shower takes a while to warm up. It is cozy though with the big log fire and the thoughtful provision of hot water bottles...

"Kimakia Tea Houses are situated in a stunning landscape with views to the tea plantations and surrounded by nature and birds. Gabriel hosted our stay and is a wonderful and kind person, we loved meeting him and Noemi. The access to the houses is steep and 4x4 wheel drive needed, but it is more than worth the treck. "

"It is close to Mount Kenya National Park. The lodges has a scenic walk along the River. The restaurant is excellent."
