"Two things bring the otherwise good review down. The information given at the lodge and the map of the park provided was NOT ACCURATE causing us to drive completely down a path that was no longer in use and we almost got stuck. This even though we specifically asked if the map was up to date having been sold an inaccurate map in Nakuru before.
Searching for the way to Wandare gate from the Ark cost us more than 2 hours. We had to cancel our planned hike due to the delay. Considering we are...

"Kambi Mstuni is a great resort with friendly staff and beautiful gardens. The restaurant serves great food too. Will highly recommended it if you’re traveling to the Laikipia/Aberdares area. Will only ask the management to do regular maintenance to the murram road that connects it with the main road on the Makutano side since it’s a little rough to drive there when it has rained due to many potholes on it. Otherwise not a bad place to rewind despite the distance from the main road.
