"This inn was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t know what to expect with the name, but it was great. We stayed in a room for six, the beds were comfortable and the restaurant downstairs was very convenient. We were able to order dinner and bring it up to our room. Breakfast was delicious! The only negative was no Air Conditioning, and it was warm in the room. They did provide a fan and we probably would have been fine opening a window because it was cool outside, but we didn’t want bugs to...

"Great location and nice pub. Parking on site is very limited but there is a large public car park very close. Staff were fine. One or two smiled and were friendly but the rest seemed quite miserable although they did the job effectively. Cleaning staff in the accommodation were lovely. "The hotel was being renovated. Our room was in the process of updating and was not ready to be let out. It had clean bed linen, but needed a thorough clean not just top dusting. It was understaffed with the few staff trying to do everything and failing.
I could list all the faults which are the same as previous reviews. The main problem was that all the electric appliances were run from a multiplug, including the kettle, the TV and an old convector heater brought into the room as the radiators...

"This is the best room i have stayed in within this kind of setting. I booked a single budget room. It was brilliant. Very large room with a small double bed in it , much better than a single bed. Lovely bedding. Lovely spacious bathroom with fabulous products.no need to bring your own. Great brands of tea, coffee and biscuits.
At breakfast i ask ed for mine to be cooked well done however it came back with pale bacon and sausage. All i ate was the egg. However their was lovely berries, greek...

"The city itself is a jewel. But the Swan is stuck in the past century, the furniture is old - not classy, the bathroom doesn't support hot baths or the fire alarm will go off. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The stair are beautiful, but the maze beyond it to get to the rooms are a trouble for baggage carriers."

"This was better than I first thought. Staying for business and I need somewhere close to where I was working for 1 night. The email with entry instructions arrived in good time and entry to the building was easy too and parking across the road. Room was perfectly adequate, clean and tidy. The freshly cooked breakfast was lovely. I prefer to have breakfast earlier than 8am but that's only a personal preference. A little bit of road noise on occasion but not all night. All in all I would stay here...
