"Very friendly hostel. Comfortable bed, good kitchen area and tv room. Met many nice people. "

"For the price, (£32) for a night it was spot on. All I wanted was a bit of tv a hot shower and a bed and all of that was available. Staff were very friendly, smart young people who seem to run a good little enterprise. Lively little pub with music on and football competing for noise. Tried to book again the following night but nothing left. Will definitely return. 15 minute walk from town centre."

"I enjoyed my two night stay at The Grainger Hotel. The room i stayed in with en-suite was immaculate & well presented. Incidentally i have stayed in this particular room previously & was very happy upon learning i was staying in the same room again. "The apartment was great, conveniently located for Newcastle City Center (within a short walk, or short hop on the Metro), Jesmond Metro station and restaurants and cafes in the local area. Check in via the adjacent Holiday Inn was quick and efficient and access to parking (free with the apartment!) was easy. "On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Really can’t fault our room was lovely felt homely & cosy, the area was nice & quiet. Highly recommend this place. We had the family room as it was the last one left for us to book & was a great size room. 10/10 "

"Comfortable stay at a space with affordable food (though they missed off my jalapenos...), and I appreciated that the radiator was off when I arrived, allowing me to set the temperature myself (far too many places have it all the way up by default, leaving the room stuffy). Decent shower and in-room complimentaries, and little noise pollution from the bar below allowed for a good night's rest."
