"The suites are very spacious and super quiet, the pool area is beautiful and steps from the beach! It definitely exceeded my expectations and the free parking was another huge bonus! The building itself is somewhat dated but the price I paid was so much cheaper than other newer hotels in the area, so I was more than happy with everything!"

"haviamos reservado o quarto no Ocean Inn que é parte velha do hotel. mal conservado. quartos com cheiro de umidade e com aspecto de sujos. esta foto da sacada nao condiz com a verdade. nao haviam me colocado de frente para o mar. pagamos a mais US$100,00 por noite e ficamos na parte nova que se chama Royal Lahaina resort, de frente para o mar. o hotel é de frente para o mar, com cadeiras pelo gramado, muito lindo. "

"We have 8 adults and 7 young children in our family. There was room to spare so things were never cluttered. With the swimming pool right off the large sliding back door the kids and their parents were almost always in it. With the beach and boardwalk just outside the back gate, it was so convenient to play in the ocean and go for relaxing walks. Also nice having Dukes restaurant just a relaxing strole down the boardwalk. Everyone in our family said it was the best vacation they’ve ever had."

"While being evacuated from my home in Kula, Hotel rented my family a room in this hotel that was also being of Maui forcible evacuated by the police due to a natural disaster then informed me there are no refunds! It’s unclear if this hotel burned to the ground. Being forced to pay for a room in a disaster area that cannot be used or accessed feels like a corrupt business practice, or sort of like stealing. "

"Loved everything about the stay and property. Just a slight issue with the designated parking we were assigned to. Out of the four days, a car was parked on our designated parking for 2 days and no one was available to speak to about it on grounds office. "

"This condo was exceptional! Location had an ocean view, and was on the corner so, we could also see the beautiful courtyard. Clean, well equipped, and the communication with the property managers was exceptional! Rental car was an real bonus. My wife and I will definitely request this unoit on our next Maui visit!"

"I didn't like the fact that what I thought I booked was a hotel room, but in fact was a unit independently managed by Vacasa. That should be disclosed before the booking, not after."

"The condo was immaculate, and had with just enough basic goods to make our first day very enjoyable: coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper, coffee filters, paper towels, beach equipment. The property itself is immaculately maintained with wonderful facilities for grilling at night. The views are as though you were on a cruise ship! Can’t recommend the place enough what a wonderful vacation we had."

"This property is right on the water with amazing ocean views. It is a short walk to many restaurants and the beach. We stayed for a few nights during The Sentry PGA golf tournament and had a wonderful time. "

"We loved our stay in our room! The closet was full of different things for going on the beach! There was a cart, 4 chairs, 2 unbrellas, 2 ice chest and many other amenities for a perfect day on the beach. The room was spotless and the kitchen was loaded with everything you need for cooking and serving food. "

"We have been to Maui many many times, typically stay at the Westin Villas nearby. We decided to try Honua Kai since we always walked by. Beautiful property first and foremost. However, we found the pools area to be compact, which made it crowded. Sadly enough, never used the pool area bc we could never find seating. The Unit itself was decent. Except the beds were not that comfortable, especiallly the sofa bed. Made a ton do noise even if you moved an inch. The water pressure in the shower was...

"Condo was perfect for my wife and myself. Everything you need is basically furnished. Full size fridge, stove/ oven. Plenty of dishes, Tupperware, etc. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and a collapsible wagon. The view was great, (though there is a tall palm tree directly off from the patio but it just adds a bit of ambiance. There is also plenty of beach towels, bath towels as well as an in room washer and dryer, (so dont over pack). Overall, a great stay!"

"The kitchen was completely stocked with even a vitamix blender. We were able to get groceries and make meals and snacks all day. The laundry machines were so convenient. It was amazing to have the place completely set up and ready to go, even the beach chairs and all. We have been to Hawaii serval times and this was by far our favorite stay. The location was perfect, the garage park was perfect the kindness of the staff was amazing and they helped with several needs and were so kind. "
