The cottage is adorable, very private and within reasonable driving times to the area’s attractions. The cottage was well equipped and well furnished. "We loved the town of Custer and this charming house was right in the heart of it. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The location was also a perfect jumping off point for seeing the sites in the Black Hills. We went far and wide and decided our favorite excursion was a day in Custer State Park, where we saw Bison and Prairie Dogs and a host of other wildlife. It was awesome to come home each day to the peaceful little cottage where we ended the evening with a movie and then to bed....

"Custer was the perfect spot for us to see all the things the Black Hills has to offer. The cozy cabin was just the right size and had all the things we needed to cook, relax, and play. Favorite pieces of the house: the playground, the throw blankets, oscillating fan in each bedroom, the grill and carport. Top notch stay!"

"Quiet, comfortable hotel. One thing I didn't realize about residential hotels is that most of the guests are there for an extended period of time so in general they will be quieter than guests at other hotels. In addition, there will be fewer children around. Excellent breakfast every morning in a clean breakfast room."

"Why not stay the night in a cute little cabin with a wide porch in the woods instead of a standard hotel? The staff is super nice and helpful, and our room is clean and comfortable. We had a picnic on the porch after our tour of Mount Rushmore which is only 4 miles away. Highly recommended!"
