Cottage #9 it's a brand new luxurious Tiny house! cabin offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the warm, wooden floors that add a rustic touch to the space, equipped with vaulted ceilings and a walk-in shower, a queen size bed to provide a restful night's sleep. It has the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. In the kitchen area, you'll find a coffee maker and an electric kettle, necessary utensils and cookware, making it convenient for preparing meals.

Take a dip in our community hot tub, tucked away in a private, decked area. It's a bubbling paradise!

Conveniently located just an hour from the iconic Mt. Rushmore and the Rapid City Airport, Spearfish Cottages offer you easy access to some of the nation's most famous landmarks and a hassle-free journey and we are only three blocks from BHSU.

🐶 Pet-Friendly: Got a furry companion? We're delighted to host up to two dogs! There is a one-time pet fee of $30. Please reach out for pet approval. Just remember, no cats allowed.

🚭 No Smoking Zone: Keep it smoke-free, as smoking or vaping of any kind is a no-go.

🚗 Parking Paradise: We've got our private parking lot right next to the cabins. If you're bringing a trailer or a big vehicle, no worries—just drop us a message for parking details.

Check in/Check out:
Our check-in time is 4pm, check-out is 10am sharp unless approved by one of us in advance. We will send you your check-in info with the door code and parking directions the morning of your check-in.

Explore the Area: We're right in the heart of town, so there are plenty of paths for walks with your dog or trips to the nearby parks (many within a mile).

Property Rules:

--This property is dog-friendly! If you plan to bring your dog, you must get pre-approval and pay the pet fee before check-in. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. City law requires dogs to be on a leash while outside and because there are other cottages on the property and potentially other dogs visiting with their owners, it is extra important that dogs be on a leash when outside. Dog waste must be disposed of and any damages or additional cleaning may incur additional fees. We cannot currently accept cats, birds, etc at this property.

-No Smoking or Vaping of any substances. If we find evidence of any kind of smoking or vaping in the property there will be a minimum of $250 added to your stay. The property is smoke free.

Respectful Neighbors: Be a good neighbor and keep the noise down between 10 PM and 8 AM. You are in your own house with no shared walls, so it is pretty easy to meet this expectation.

Hot Tub Rules: If you're enjoying the hot tub, please do so between 8 AM and 10 PM. No food or drinks in the tub, and don't forget to shower before taking a soak. It's a community hot tub, so be considerate of others. There is no lifeguard on duty and by using the hot tub you are accepting responsibility for your own safety.

Parking Etiquette: Park along the property's gravel parking area, and please avoid sideways parking on the street or large trailers. If you have a trailer, we've got a spot for you on Ames St. Otherwise, trailers must be detached and parked the same direction as other vehicles.
