"The staff in the hotel were amazing, very helpful and professional. The hotel was clean but the building needs an urgent update, bedside lights not working, Bathroom from the 70's with a very poor shower. Not many electric plugs, Come on now, you know we need to plug in phones, hairdryers, kindles ..."

At check-in, reception staff called Victoria was not very welcome and did not seem keen on relocating us to another room (the one given to us was on a lower level and the lift was out of order). "My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc ..."
