A local has told us that the Indian company that owns the hotel has not paid the local staff wages and they have been forced to leave. The hotel is filthy, there is literally no staff anywhere to be seen. "

"Wir waren vier Nächte als Zwischenstopp hier eingecheckt. Wir wurden wenig herzlich empfangen. Auch funktionierten anfänglich die Toilette und die Dusche nicht. Beim betätigen der Dusche roch das Wasser unangenehm. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war eher sporadisch. Auch wurde während des gesamten Aufenthaltes weder das Bettzeug noch die Handtücher gewechselt. In der Umgebung ist viel los was die Schlafqualität bei Zimmern mit offenen Korridor zur Straße erheblich beeinträchtigen hat. Eine...

"We really enjoyed our time at PodBay, we used the pool lots and the sun loungers. It is right on the beach so if you want a swim in the waves you can just walk out to them or stay by the pool. Our cabin was lovely and the air con worked really well. We were looking for somewhere to relax for a few days and it was perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly too."

"We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The accommodation is not in the middle of the city but in a quieter location, that suited us perfectly. The accommodation borders a long, beautiful beach that leads you to the Surf paradise. Lovely outdoor shower in our cabana. Worked well with the fan mosquito net. Good service with everything from food, bikes, washing clothes. Very nice and accommodating staff. We appreciated the accommodation so much that we chose to book another night. Lungy and nice....
