"The property was a large old building, commanding on the cliff. There was a refurbishment underway, so some areas were better than others. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was large, and comfortable. We didnt eat at the hotel, but the bar was very welcoming and the restaurant looked lovely. We had a very enjoyable stay."

"We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle. The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling. We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away Bed was comfy, but very soft. Pillows need replacing. "The location was perfect as we were only a short walk away from the Whalebone Arch, so you're not far at all from where you'd want to be. The room was lovely and clean, and the pillows and bed were all comfortable. There was a decent sized TV and plenty of storage space for our things. There was even room under the bed. The hosts were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed."
