"We had an amazing stay! We were receptioned by Ursula, who showed us the apartment, how everything worked and we could get in touch with her if we needed anything. "Overall had a fantastic stay. Location was second to none: on the lake, short drive from hikes, Interlaken, etc. Excellent communication with hosts. Only down side was the heat. 28C days with sun coming through the (lovely) patio windows turns the place into a sauna. The poor tiny air conditioner couldn't keep up and we couldn't close the patio blinds for 'safety reasons'. Loft far to hot to sleep so had to sleep on the couch. Would be a perfect stay if slightly cooler"

"This location was just perfect - the view alone would have sold us, but the house also was very clean, and was located right across from the bus stop. Xiufen was extremely responsive and set us up on advance with the Panorama pass which makes most bus trips free, and gives discounts on some attractions. Suggest to take train to Thun and bus to the location. Close to a walking suspension bridge and nice trail, also close to an extensive cave system worth visiting. "
