Make it easy to be in Winterthur
Wartmann is the best choice for travellers in Winterthur. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable and clean, with good service. LOcation is perfect, in front of the train station, on it's block you find a SPAR and restaurants and it's walking distance from downtown like Neumarkt.

Wonderful place
Wonderful place with an awesome staff!! Well located, in front of Winterthur train station (15 min away from Zurich). I strongly recommend it and will be there again as soon as I have a new oportunity.

Durch die Schalldichten Fenster war es trotz des nahen Bahnhofs zum Schlafen ganz angenehm ruhig im Zimmer. Das Zimmer angenehm sauber. Das Personal freundlich. Die Anreise spät Nachts kein Problem. Das Frühstück sehr gut. Gerne wieder!

Die Rezeption ist abends nicht besetzt. Eine Einweisung, wie ich ins Hotel komme, war mir nicht übersandt worden. Zufällig war ein anderer Gast zugegen, der die Hoteltür geöffnet und mir zu meinem Zimmerschlüssel verholfen hat. Auf dem Zimmer gab es kein Mineralwasser. Check out war erst ab 8 Uhr möglich, da die Rezeption vorher geschlossen war.

Most stay when they are in transit as this is steps from the train, but I stayed 10 days for business and loved it ! Nice breakfast, front desk (Nastasha specifically) very kind, everyone so friendly !!! Triple room is great for 2 for a longer stay or 3 for a shorter stay. Argentina Steakhouse connected and delicious (but $$$). Stayed last year and again this year … will stay again !!!

Ganz sicher zum empfehlen! Alles war supi.
Sehr schönes Hotel, an einem tollen Ort gelegen, direkt neben dem Bahnhof und nah am Zentrum. Es gibt Geschäfte, Restaurants in der Nähe, also alles, was wir brauchen. Tolles Frühstück, große Auswahl. Der einzige Nachteil war der schmutzige Balkon nebenan, mit Müll und Essensresten. Und da die Balkone nur durch ein Geländer getrennt sind, wirkt sich das direkt auf die Sauberkeit des Zimmers aus. Jemand hat beim Putzen einfach vergessen, auf den Balkon zu schauen. Meine Gesamtbewertung ist vom Max 10 - gebe 9,5! Ich empfehle dieses Hotel jedem mit voller Verantwortung. Hotel bardzo fajny, położony w super miejscu zaraz obok Dworca i niedaleko centrum. W okolicy sklep, restauracje, wiec wszystko co potrzeba. Super śniadanie, duży wybór. Jedynym minusem był brudny balkon obok, ze śmieciami, resztkami jedzenia. A że balkony są oddzielone między sobą tylko barierką, ma to bezpośredni wpływ na czystość pokoju. Ktoś poprostu zapomniał zajrzeć na balkon podczas sprzątania. Ogólna ocena z mojej strony na 10 - 9,5 ! polecam ten hotelik wszystkim z całą odpowiedzialnością.

Super Lage und Preis-Leistung
Super gelegen direkt beim Bahnhof, Check-in / Check-out war sehr effizient. Wir hatten ein sehr grosses Doppelzimmer, trotz nähe zum Bahnhof war es sehr ruhig. Frühstücksbuffet eher klein, für den bezahlten Preis aber tiptop.

Our power in the room went out and we called the number provided on the sheet in the room only to hear we dialed the wrong number ,than we called the hotel number ,got the same lady who said she will help - I told her I recognize her voice. She never came instead I had to locate a key to power fuses myself,she said to look in breakfast fast place below coffee machine! I was able with help from my neighbor to turn on power! The hotel was not prepared for such a situation at all! Nobody on desk at night! Absolutely unacceptable on their part! The lady told me after I said this to her ,but you have power back….1,5 hrs later ! The management there needs to resolve problems faster! And better ..clearly the lady on the phone was not even anywhere near by..and constantly had to check back with management herself…

Wir schätzen es, dass Sie darauf hinweisen, dass unser Hotel auch mit dem Auto erreichbar ist, obwohl wir keine hoteleigenen Parkplätze haben. Confortable hotel near train station
Hotel is very near the main station, very convenient. With the windows closed, no noise from trains etc. Friendly an competent receptionist. Good breakfast. Clean and confortable room and bed. Minor niggle: in the bathroom the silicone or rubber strip on the movable part of the shower partition is missing; thus the bathroom floor is flooded if you shower.
