"We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. When you enter , the lobby area is nice . And that’s about it. The room we stayed in was dated and the carpet was full of stains. In a 4 star hotel the standards for cleanliness should be higher. We had the most unpleasant experience for 2 days at breakfast. We walked in the restaurant and waited to be seated. The majority of tables were nicely done . The hostess had a hard time locating our name on the guests lists and when she was able to confirm...

"Die Wohnung ist von der Ausstattung gut. Das Haus ist aber sehr hellhörig und direkt an einer viel befahrenen Strasse auch draußen ziemlich laut. Die Ausstattung mit Besteck und Geschirr ist nicht ausreichend. Man muss die Spülmaschine laufen lassen, weil kein Besteck und Geschirr in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden ist. "

"Travelled with a group of friends and several children. The hotel is charming, the bulk of the main building being very old with some modern additions to the rear. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. We all went half board and were well fed with good food. Breakfast was a wealth of choice, both continental and some English staples. "We loved our stay at Schloss Prielau Hotel. The staff made us feel like family & even upgraded us to the suite! The property is gorgeous & is only a 5 min walk from lake zell. The restaurant is incredible & it actually turned out to be the best food we ate for our entire trip. This hotel takes you back in time but it is very clean & maintained. We will be coming back one day! "
