This Panorama apartment offered by Steinbock Lodges, which is situated right on Lake Zell, is a new and modern apartment with a panoramic view and an idyllic garden. A sunny terrace with sun loungers (in summer) and a view of the lake, as well as a south-facing balcony offer wonderful views and will really whet your appetite for the picturesque Lake Zell and the Hohe Tauern with the Kitzsteinhorn glacier (“Top of Salzburg” viewing platform and Gipfelwelt 3000 [Gipfelwelt translates as “World of Peaks”]).



If you are travelling by car, you can park your car conveniently and free of charge directly in front of the apartment building. You can keep your valuables locked up and protected in the safe. You are welcome to use the washing machine and dryer for an additional charge. If you would like some fresh bread rolls in the morning, there is an excellent local bakery that is happy to provide you with this service (for an additional charge).

You can quickly dry any wet ski gear in the ski room with ski boot heating. There is a separate bicycle stand (outside) for your bicycles. This modern apartment building with a well-kept and fenced-in garden is located only 100 m from the Seespitz lido on Lake Zell (discounted admission with your guest card). Location:

The apartment is located in the district of Schüttdorf – a suburb of Zell am See – in a traffic-calmed zone. The nearest supermarket is only 1 km away. There is also a local bakery just around the corner (check out their delicious cakes!) and it’s only 500 m to the bus stop and the local Pinzgau railway (free in summer with our Steinbock Lodges guest card). In no time at all, you will reach the many popular ski and hiking areas that are not far away – and in comfort. It’s only 1.5 km to the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See, 7 km to the glacier skiing area of Kitzsteinhorn (Gipfelwelt 3000 as well as the Top of Salzburg) and 7 km to the Maiskogel mountain – a firm family favourite – with the all-year-round “Maisi Flitzer” alpine coaster.



Leisure activities:

Zell am See with its top water quality is just as attractive in summer as it is in winter. Children especially have lots of fun at Lake Zell, with a beach and heated outdoor pool (three well-maintained lidos). For young people and adults, the lake offers multiple opportunities for diving, sailing, surfing, water skiing, stand-up paddle board (SUP) yoga or kayaking.

Perhaps you might enjoy the magnificent view on a round trip or crossing from the deck of a boat, or perhaps even explore the lake on your own by boat? There are several boat hire companies offering their services along the shore.



Just a few minutes from the apartment you will find tennis courts where you can burn off some energy (for an additional charge) and nature lovers have a wide choice of trails, mountain hikes, climbing, cycling paths or mountain bike routes. Or why not visit the Krimml Waterfalls – the highest waterfalls in Europe!

Zell am See also has picturesque yet challenging golf courses (36 holes), just a few minutes away from the Steinbock Lodges Panorama apartment building.



Here’s one for all you adrenaline junkies – why not give ballooning, paragliding or a helicopter flight around the Alps a go?



In winter it’s not just skiing that attracts many visitors. There are numerous other activities on offer such as sledging, ski tours, ice skating, cross-country skiing or winter hiking. Also in winter, ski slopes lead from the mountain directly into the town itself.
