PIOR All Inclusive da minha vida! Um absurdo. No jantar, pedi mais uma entrada e disseram que eu só podia uma, o resto era pago! O responsável pela cozinha disse que tinha limites de 1 por pessoa e caso passasse seria cobrado 6 dolares em cada entrada e ainda apontou o cardápio dizendo que estava escrito ( e não tinha NADA!! E ele falou que era isso e ponto final). Os drinks que eu pedia demoravam MUITO tempo. O hotel estava com problemas com o gelo.. achei que fosse momentâneo, mas no outro dia continuou igual! Paguei um all inclusive caro e me senti um palhaço! Além de tudo isso, a descarga do meu banheiro não funcionava! Tentaram consertar e não deu certo. Para piorar, na noite, o ar condicionado começou a fazer um barulho irritante e parou de funcionar!!! Eu sempre deixei de lado fazer avaliações dos hoteis que fico, mas desta vez fiz questão para alertar as pessoas e evitarem cair neste "golpe" de hotel e de sistema "All Inclusive" que limitam até as entradas do jantar.

Dear Breno, thank you for your notification. To clarify some of the mentioned. You extended your stay with us by one night. Your second booking was for a standard room whilst staying in one of our sea view rooms, a different price category, which we accepted without extra charge from our side. The maintenance issue with your AC and toilet was reported at 1.00am according to our maintenance log book and the AC was solved at 1.10am we repaired the toilet later after you went for breakfast at 9.30am. However, after your extended stay you negotiating for a better all-inclusive rate based on the issues in your room and we offered you a special compensated rate. Your complain about our all-inclusive, again a very interesting opinion, please keep in mind as you been informed when you changed your status. Our offered package has limits in terms of selected courses. Our daily changing 4 course menu with 3 different starters, 2 different soups, 4 different main courses and 3 different desserts does not entitle you to order each course 3 times per person without additional charges. We are apologizing for not exceeding your expectations and wish you all the best. Kind regards Richard von Lauenstein

Fui de lua de mel com minha esposa e adoramos o hotel e a viagem no geral! Fomos muito bem recebidos, porém alguns pontos a destacar que nos deixaram desapontados: fomos alugar as bicicletas do hotel e estavam totalmente inutilizáveis. Na hora de fechar a conta estavam cobrando um transfer que não utilizamos e pedimos early breakfast no dia que saímos e foi deprimente quando abrimos! Um hotel desse porte teve a coragem de nos mandar na marmita: UM OVO COZIDO, um pedaço de melancia que estava passado, um pedaço de laranja e um mini pedaço de bolo ( TUDO JUNTO) que ficou todo moljado com o suco das frutas! Uma falta de respeito isso com os hóspedes, deveriam rever isso pois acabamos levando uma imagem ruim do hotel que começou bem!

Dream Resort for Vacation
Nungwi Dreams was a gorgeous resort for my 8 day stay in Zanzibar. Nestled in between other resorts and the ocean, the room had a spectacular view from the balcony. We arrived fairly late, and the resort was gated with security present, creating a safe environment for guests. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious for two people. The two pools were easily accessible and cleaned often, and pools overlook the ocean as well. We opted for half board and the breakfast/dinner options didn’t disappoint.The l restaurant located at the Pool was a great place to grab drinks, pizza and sweet snacks while relaxing near the water. The staff and service was plentiful, although I wish there was a better virtual way to keep track of room charges. The only thing that would make this better would be to have an adults only side. I would stay here again, and truly enjoyed my stay!

Overpcied for what it is and food is terrible
Will try to be as balanced as possible. Good things: - staff very smiley and helpful everywhere -the swimming pools are really good and worth it -the beach is amazing one of the best visited atound the world (water shoes are provided aswell) Bad - food is not great at all...stale bread used in burger, fresh juice not fresh, the dinner buffet has poor quality ingredients and gone off fruit. Breakfast buffet was average although presence of flies was a let down. Overall this isnt 5star food at all and it is the main reason that the review is only 2 stars...£500 a night room but the food is more like 2star hotel food... Service- can be inconsistent...for lunch the wait time is 30minutes regardless of what you order. Sometimes you would ask staff for something and they would disappear and not come back...there is a tendency for them to ignore your request if they didnt understand it. Gym- small but functional but the air conditioning does not work so its like a sauna...again I raised it with a staff member who didnt return Rooms- occasional power cuts and water cut off can be annoying although its transient. Presence of ants in the room occasionally. Tldr: amazing beaches but terrible food not value for money

Très bon hôtel à nungwi. Personnel sympa et à l’écoute.Chambre vue sur l’océan spacieuse et vue splendide. Accès à la plage privée depuis l’hôtel. 2 piscines disponibles. Les buffets proposés sont variés et bons. Quelques animations pendant le repas. Petit bémol: la route pour accéder aux hôtels en mauvais état.. Je recommande (parfait pour honeymoon)

The chef was wonderful. He took the time to get to know our dietary needs and made us special entrees and desserts. However, having a screen on our balcony door, or a door that closed properly would have gone a long way. Also a mosquito net. One last tip. Do not use a taxi that is not provided for by the resort. We were quoted $20 by one but when we arrived at our destination, he demanded 40. Just a word to the wise

Not worth the price at all!
Not worth the money! Bad service. Unwelcoming. We were told that the pool was closed (closes at 6) yet there were two people in it and they weren't asked to get out. As soon as we got into our room we received a message asking us at what time we were going to leave?! Ants in the bathroom. Most guests seemed to be the all inclusive package type. Only positive thing was the view from the rooftop and the dinner we paid for (the breakfast that was included in the room price was terrible). Definitely not a 5* hotel as advertised. Left Nungwi two days earlier than planned due to the bad quality of service. By far the worst hotel we stayed at during our Zanzibar trip although it was the only one rated 5*.

Our experience in the Nungwi Dreams by Mantis was unforgettable ! First of all the hotel is gorgeous! The view is stunning. Everything was perfect. The staff was so welcoming and very professional. The food was so tasty, the breakfast was delicious with so many choices. We highly recommend it. And yes, we are coming back.

Luxury for great value
Great value for money. Friendly staff. Good food. Beautiful rooms, view and pool area. It is a bit isolated from the nungwi beach area, but its an interesting walk for around 20-30 min to get there. The beach at the hotel is no good for swimming either, så its nice to visit nungwi beach or others in the area. We found the entertainment a bit intense as they were singing/playing drums etc for about 2,5 h at buffeet dinners. But I guess thats just a question of personal preferences.

This was a WONDERFUL boutique hotel. The hotel itself was gorgeous, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beyond the gorgeous aesthetics, the staff was ABOVE and BEYOND! I certainly recommend this hotel. It is a great price point for a true 5 star experience. I will certainly be coming back, and I encourage others to stay there!

Dear Guest, Thank you for review. I am sad to hear about your experience . We are embarrassed to hear a fly in your food and instantly called our team for a meeting. Our kitchen works on HCCAP standards and our chef was insuring me that it was definitely not out of our kitchen. Loved everything about the property. It's location right at the beach, the pool was clean and gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and very well educated on hospitality. All staff I met had a degree in hospitality and were very professional. The services are excellent and would like to commend Laizer, Mwajuma, Suzan, Mohamed(Mudi), hilda, and the supervisor Charles Joseph who is the ultimate professional. This is our to go place together with my wife and will be back here when in Zanzibar.

Awesome get away. Worth the price.
Awesome accommodations. Food reasonably priced, good selection, and makes your mouth dance (really good). Great ambiance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room is superb. View is outstanding. Pool is amazing. Beach is quiet. Security on site which is good.

Overpriced
This is a 3 star hotel with old, stained towels and the rug in the room really needed to be replaced. The price was exorbitant, the food lacked variety, the pool lacked adequate lounges and you could not swim in the ocean there.

Playa exotica de Nungwi con sus mareas alto - bajas a tus pies... preciosas vistas, paseos y brisas del mar. Piscina infinity y modernas villas resultan en ambiente relajado muy contemporaneo.

The staff at the hotel are very accommodating aLways willing to go the extra mile to ensure great service. Hotel s quiet and peaceful away from the hustle of the main village but enough If you want to go there.Pool is adequate and overlooks the ocean for great views. The hotel sits on the beach , but tye beach and ocean itself is not the best beach in Nungwi for swimming. The Nungwi main beach is a quick taxi drive away however and for me was not an issue.Food at the mantis was good and i found it reasonably priced, and the hotel has some themed nights for dinner with live entertainment. The only issue with food was with breakfast with the chefs not quite getting easy over eggs correct but the breakfast was enjoyable.
